Enat Winery, Oakland CA

Had this wine at Ethiopian restaurant. Complimented the dishes we were eating. I will have to take a trip again, but this time leaving with extra bottles.

This wine is delicious. I order bottle (s) every time I go to my favorite restaurant and I have ordered a full case in the past. That made me order another case.

Last month, on July 20, I ordered a case of wine and the payment went into their account on July 21st. On August 20th I reached out to the merchant bc I still hadn’t received my order. When he responded to my email, which had my receipt from Amex as an attachment, he told me they didn’t receive my money bc they don’t accept Amex.

I paid through Square and SQUARE DOES ACCEPT AMEX. These people gave me the run around, did not answer when Amex attempted to call them, they told me they didn’t have record of my purchase and told me they don’t have my money EVENTHOUGH THEY DO.

I proceeded to send the merchant my Square invoice and I still didn’t receive the level of professionalism or customer service I was expecting. This wine is delicious but the merchant is rude and unprofessional. There is no reason they should have a customers over $100 order, money in hand, and tell the customer they didn’t receive their money WHEN THEY DID!

Although this is my favorite wine in the whole world I wanted to leave this review in hope of 1. Getting better customer service in the future, and 2. To make folks aware of the fact that if you order directly from the merchant there may be a delay or confusion regarding your order.

Update: I finally received my case of wine today, on Sept. 14th! Although it took me 3 months to receive I’m just happy that it’s finally here bc once again, THE WINE IS DELICIOUS. I literally done a happy dance when FedEx knocked on my door. If you haven’t tried this wine, I recommend that you do. Just know that it might not come when you want it but it’ll be there right on time.
