Came to the ER to get stitches for some wounds, everyone was very nice but it took 3 hours to get stitched up because it was very busy. For removal it took less than 20 mins! It all depends on what your situation is and how busy they are. Thank you for taking care of me ️

The strangest hospital experience ever. I was supposed to go to Provident but was told they were full. Brought by ambulance after a fall down the stairs, couldn’t breathe but was left on a gurney in the hallway for hours. Finally was taken to the ICU, which is in an area where the nurses gather in the middle. They were talking and laughing in the middle of the night. I kept asking for someone to look at my ear because yellow fluid was coming out but for almost a week, no one did. Was also told there were no bathrooms on the floor so I had to use a commode. I was one of two patients on the floor and they would not let me leave my room, since the computers in the middle might have hippa info. Then why design it that way? Discovered plenty of bathrooms on the floor because there were no patients on the rest of the floor. Was supposed to be moved to regular care, but told they were full although I never saw any other patients except one. They would bring meals and leave the tray of uneaten food in my room until the next morning. Used a blood pressure cuff with dried blood on it. Coffee and food on the floor weren’t cleaned up until the next day. Because they wouldn’t check my ear, I have cerebral fluid pressing on my eardrum and leaking out. I can’t hear out of my ear. Totally unprofessional; if you have to ask the nurses who were talking loudly and laughing right outside your room at 3am, there’s something wrong. This place needs their license revoked and investigated. I’m sure they’re going to charge me for an ICU room for the whole stay even though I shouldn’t have been there.

Pretty nice staff no waiting most of the time, not great with prescriptions and too fast to send your account to collection instead of looking for insurance, good parking, needs to cater better it's located close to studio city and that clientele expects really top notch service.overall not bad!

Reception can be very rude and slow but once u get passed them. The staff is caring, quick to help relieve pain and get what u need. It's quiet, people aren't screaming like Northridge er. Dr. Smith is excellent and knowledgeable. He helped my boyfriend last night. And then some. Highly recommend.

If you want to be treated unfairly and in a rude way, come here. The guy behind the counter at the emergency desk is so rude. I came in with my babe and he just said "there are no visitors allowed and I'm gonna have to ask you to leave". He could have been nicer and professional and ask in a different way. He seemed bother or in a bad mad but to be working in a place like this where people need caring and love he is not been respectful and caring at all.

They prey on low level people with insurance, especially workers comp. They are probably one big insurance scam place that is getting away with defrauding insurance companies.

Worst ER experience in my life. The ER doctor was highly unprofessional and very dismissive. He was verbally abusive to me and my family when we requested he explain his procedures. Wouldn't address me or my emergency contact directly. The room was very unsanitary with blood and cloths still on the floor. I was experiencing severe pain and labored breathing related to my injury, when asking for assistance the doctor, and I quote, said, "well is it killin' yah. What do you want? Do you want pain medicine, is that what you want? " It was a very humiliating and degrading experience. The Dr.at the time of my visit was Dr. Victor Lopes, if memory serves correctly.

This facility is an absolute joke! Its no wonder that the waiting room is always empty. I am 36 yrs old and have been diagnosed with COPD. I went to the ER because of a flare up I was having (wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath etc) I was given 1 breathing treatment and after it ended waited another 45 minutes. Before anyone came in to see how I was doing since treatment ended. Since I barely showed any improvement, I was ordered a 2nd one. No steroids, chest x-ray or magnesium.nothing. I also had a heart monitor on (since albuterol treatment can make your heart rate high). The 2 of the leads that were on my chest came off and my monitor alarm was sounding like crazy (along with the one at the nurses station) and not 1 time did someone come to see if I was ok (since according to the machine I had no pulse or heart rate) the rest of my time there.

I had to use the restroom and my husband assisted me in the restroom since I cant walk 2 ft without being out of breath. The minute we shut the door we hear a nurse yell out to us, "What are you doing? Smoking in there? ! " My husband and I were taken back and obviously offended by her comment. Yet we still answered her "no" and explained I needed help. Afterwards, I left the restroom and went back to my bed to start my 2nd treatment. My husband stayed in the restroom because he needed to use it next and tend to his colostomy bag. As I sat in my bed I hear the nurse continue to tell different staff members that my husband is smoking in the restroom and I was in there with him moments earlier. I was absolutely outraged and disgusted by her lack of professionalism and her speculations. I was told the Dr wanted to admit me since my breathing was not improving and I told them I will NOT be admitted in this hospital due ro the lack of care and treatment and the outright disrespect from the staff. I was in the middle of my 2nd treatment which i planned on finishing up then leaving. The nurse came in and literally snatched it off my face and said since I am going AMA I need to leave NOW and she doesn't know why but the Dr gave me a prescription. Needless to say I will never return there.ever.

Parking is free! Visitors can come to see loved ones and not worry about parking charges. Great emergency treatment. A team of doctors and nurses were very attentive and kind and respectful to visitors. Dr. Sauer is awesome, and Joseph and Francesca, and others in emergency and Rilfa and Janet in CC unit. Everybody was great.

Maybe we were lucky, because there were no patients ahead of us, but everything went smoothly here. (Check in, interview with nurse, interview with doctor, treatment by nurse.) Employees were efficient and polite. Highly recommended.

My mom is currently in this hospital and I love it very much. The nurses are wonderful. Social services are very committed. I met the doctor, nurse and social case worker in the 1.5 hours of my visit. Its very quiet, clean and generous amounts of food. My mom is happy

Horrible hospital, no type of patient care. The nurses are rude one in particular, they clearly talk negative about the patients and do not care who is listening and if they are insulted. Poor poor manners.

Our experience wasn't so great. It took us a while to get check in and our paperwork situated. Don't expect A+ service by any means. Plan to wait, wait, and wait.
