Endless Sun Surf School, Newport Beach CA

Endless Sun is a great place to take surf classes, lessons or camps. My son was older when we moved here and had no surf experience. I didn't want to buy equipment until after he had tried it out. All of the instructors have been wonderful. Tim and Amy the owners keep the student to instructor ratio very low and provide all of the equipment and everything you need to have a safe, fun experience. I highly recommend Endless Sun!

We had a one hour lesson here in November, it was absolutely amazing. Our instructor was Jagee Schmidt and he was incredible. Super friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend

Booked an appointment, was super excited. Got an exposure notification. Notified the company to play it safe. They emailed us we wouldn’t be charged. Later noticed we were charged. Emailed them about charged. Said no refunds but would give us credit. We live in Midwest. Told us to get bent. Would not recommend. Super rude. I guess they prefer COVID exposure?

This place is amazing. I booked a two hour surf lesson with Thomas Coyne for my two kids (ages 10.5 and 13) and they loved it. Before the lesson was over they were already asking when we could come back. Tommy, was a great instructor. Very patient, helped them with their boards, and got them up on waves. I would recommend Endless Sun Surf to anyone.

If you are on the fence, just say yes! My son had the best week ever at surf camp. It is run so professionally and fun. Every instructor was amazing. It wasn’t just pushing your kids into waves either, it was solid instruction and worth every penny! My son said that before he wasnt that into surfing and now he is HOOKED! Thank you Endless Sun!

We highly recommend Endless Sun Surf School for children and adults alike! Our kids started as first time beginners with Endless Sun a few years ago and they have been hooked ever since. The instructors promote a positive environment for learning and inspire love for surfing and the ocean.

My wife and I had an absolutely epic surf lesson with Jager when vacationing in Newport! We only had time for an hour lesson but Jager ensured that we made the most of it. After a quick dry land run through he got us out in the water and had us up on waves in minutes. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time and only wish we could have extended the session!

My daughter and her friends just completed their first surf experience through Endless Sun, and we were very grateful to their instructors. All the girls were able to get a taste of surfing and how to handle the waves. Both their surf teachers were friendly, informative and most importantly very encouraging. They started the lesson on the sand, giving pointers on how to stand and water safety, then helped the girls out in the ocean. We got wet suits and boards from the school and the meeting spot was easy to find. This area of Newport is very popular and can get very busy on a weekend- try to book earlier in the day or on a weekday. We can’t wait to find time to book another lesson!

While visiting Newport for a week of sunburns and fun, my 10 year old son really took to the water. I decided to let him try surfing and scheduled a two hour private lesson with Jonny. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Jonny has a great personality and was the perfect instructor. After ten minutes in the water, he had my son riding his first wave. We were shocked. He must have ridden 40 or more waves, and I do not mean that he stood up and fell over after a couple of seconds. He rode the waves all the way to the beach. My wife and I were flabbergasted at how well our son did. I can not recommend Jonny and Endless Sun Surf School enough. Everything went perfect and I know my son will have a fond memory of this for the rest of his life. Thank you again, Jonny.

This was an amazing surf lesson! The instructor was great and very professional. Everything is supplied for you. I highly recommend if you are in Newport Beach to check this place out!
