Greeting lady was very rude in regards seating. Seems from other reviews this is a recurring theme that I would address as the owner.

Service and food were very good! Just disappointed with the initial interaction.

Amazing local place. Services and location A+. For all the other Italian places the quality of the food was 4 stars. Street Parking in this neighborhood is not that bad compared to others nearby. No reservations usually needed.

Portions are large and the vibes here are 10/10. Wait staff was the most attentive I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a date spot look no further!

Oh my gosh. When they said that this was the best Italian food in San Diego they weren’t kidding!
It was absolutely fabulous. The portions are generous, and even with five of us we didn’t get to taste near the food I would have liked to, but it sure gives me something to look forward to, as I am determined to come back to the San Diego area for many reasons, but Enoteca Adriano is right up there at the top.
Then there was our server, Ada. She was fantastic personable, knowledgeable, explained the dishes to the T! You could almost taste the food from her descriptions. Her service along with that of her cohorts that brought some of the dishes to the table was impeccable. I’m sorry to say I forgot how many years she said she was working here. I believe it was at least five, but possibly many more. She is just a gem!
Our ticket said 3 were dining but there were 5 of us.
So we chose two appetizers to begin with, both of them
House favorites.
Enoteca Adriania was Fresh burrata wrapped with parma prosciutto, arugula, fresh fig jam, baby heirloom tomatoes, crostini.
Burrata Special was Fresh burrata with tomato relish and steamed fresh butternut squash cubed and topped with frisée and fig jam- (my recollection prob not as perfect as dish was) served with crostini.
2 of us chose to indulge in a glass of Aglionica Red Wine.
My daughter really enjoyed her entree of Orecchiette Bosco which was Minced Italian sausage, creamy tomato parsley sauce, bread crumbs, (Gluten free or eggless options on pasta)
Our friend Rosa and my hubby both ordered the special which was Lasagne. Fresh sheets of pasta layered with meatballs and fresh tomato sauce topped with Burrata. It was truly divine.
B. Ordered the Ravioli Rossi which was delectable tender
Lobster filled ravioli, tiger shrimp, and a lobster reduction sauce. She commented that she “was in heaven”.
I ordered the Gnocchi di Casa which were-the plumpest pillows of Potato dumpling, gorgonzola, spinach, topped with crushed walnuts. It was the best gnocchi I’ve ever eaten!
We spoiled ourselves even more with Lattes and Cappuccinos. We ordered Cannolis and Tiramisu- and even enjoyed a Limoncello.
It was an exquisite evening and experience-The food and service created the perfect ambiance.
I can’t wait to return!

My favorite Italian restaurant to visit when I'm in the San Diego area. Fun atmosphere, great service, awesome wine selection, and always tasty specials. Go during the evening and watch an Italian movie projected on the patio.

Absolutely amazing experience. Wonderful atmosphere off the beaten path. Cozy, romantic and Italian food that is absolutely phenomenal. They have a very nice wine list too. The waitress gave us amazing service. The artichoke salad with olives and tomatoes on arugula was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster ravioli and my husband had an amazing cod with a puttanesca sauce. Excellent cappuccino and limoncello to finish. BTW best bread ever!

INSANELY good! I have high standards for Italian food and the homemade pasta and burrata specials were out of this world

Staff is amazing. Got burrata with pesto and artichoke and the oriechiette. Both were delicious but the Burrata was and the way it was prepared definitely exceeded my expectations! Loved it!

Service and food are impeccable. Great winelist and the best Italian bread I have had at a restaurant. The only downside was a few loud guests and onlookers waiting for their tables from the sidewalk, taking away from the cozy romantic atmosphere.

Love this place. We have been there many times. The food and service are great. Last night we had the artichoke appetizer, gnocchi and lobster ravioli. I can also recommend the pork chops. The seasoning is wonderful. They serve two chops, so I bring one home for lunch the next day. We also love that Monday - Wednesday they waive the corkage fee on one bottle of wine for every two dinners ordered. Parking is the only downside. But a short walk is worth it.

Went for a long over due date night. Made a reservation for 2 at 7 and requested to be inside due to it being below 50 at night now. They sat us in-front of the door! It was freezing! I asked for a warmer spot and she acknowledged that’s the coldest spot and that outside was warmer. She then mouthed off about wanting us wanting an inside seat and said if we want the warm outdoor seat even with a reservation we need to wait an hour. Thank you for ruining my date night. With my medical condition and medicine I have to eat with a time frame. You really ruined our special night.

First time visitor, new San Diego resident…was very pleased with the EXCELLENT SERVICE and EXCEPTIONAL BREAD…. Will look forward to a return visit. Also found street parking nearby (5: 30 early reservation) which made the night in a new area less stressful than expected.

Great service, good food, delicious and quick. Pasta was delicious but perhaps not made in house. Neighborhood feel, reasonable prices. No amaros but good wine. Their burrata appetizer is quite amazing. I would definitely come back.

Food was really good, we got a table with no wait though the place was busy. I had the spaghetti alla amatriciana, it was only slightly spicy, the portion was good. They also brought out some rustic bread with cheese and olive oil and balsamic for an appetizer. All together a very nice meal. Parking was all residential as it seemed to be in a fairly residential area.

The food is good and the ingredients are fresh. It Is better then other Italian places in town even though the recipes are not necessarily “pure”Italian cuisine e.g. Lot more sauces are used for pasta than in typical Italian food. We had seafood pasta, pasta carbonara and porcini pasta. All dishes were tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The wine was also good with some interesting bottles imported from Italy which we enjoyed.

A gem in the Pacific Coast area. Authentic Italian food, a relaxing location a short drive from the craziness of PCB, and attentive service. My wife and I were visiting the area and wanted a dining experience that was outside the tourist area with good food and wine. Enoteca Adriano delivered! We had the Tuscan soup, and the double pork chop on an arugula and cherry tomato salad (substitute for the mashed potatoes and veg). Fantastic! Our server, Oscar, was attentive and really understood the wine options. He recommended a Valpolicello that matched well with our meal. It is also worth noting that they were able to accommodate a dairy allergy without an issue. Oscar was able to get us focaccia bread without the smoked mozzarella cheese. A great experience! Highly recommended.
