Enterprise Rent-A-Car

It was a breath of fresh air working with Enterprise after dealing with the insurance company. The insurance company was trying to screw me over by putting me in a compact when their insured driver T-Boned my Audi. I put up a fight with the insurance company and they decided to bump up my rental allowance by a whole dollar each day, still putting me in a compact. The guys over at Enterprise recognized my frustration and threw me a bone by upgrading my rental to a premium without charging me. This is the first time I’ve had to deal with an accident, insurance, rental, etc.and I would recommend this particular location to anyone 11 times out of 10.

Extraordinary service.
I am absolutely amazed at how attentive and fast the company staff responded to my inquiries. I felt important and what is essential - safe using company cars and services. I especially want to thank Lindsey, the branch manager, for this location. She TRULY exceeded all my expectations and just made my day. Thank you!

This is our go-to car rental place for the road trips. They take such GREAT care of us and remember us, even if it's been a couple of months, or an entire summer.

Worst service ever… This rental place is located in pacific highway in San Diego CA. I usually don’t review on anything but this service was a must… I wished I remember the ladies name on the front desk. She was no help at all and refused any help what so ever. I recently change my last name on my ID but haven’t gotten a chance to change last name on CC. Can you believe she refused to rent me a car. I couldn’t believe it. She put me in such bad position and she didn’t care. Let me remind you I’m out of town and no car, I hv my two little ones with me 4 and 6 yo… she just didn’t care I wasn’t changing her mind what so ever. So freaking rude. She had me and my kids walk around looking for a car rental place to get a vehicle. You trust this people to make your trip easy and this freaking lady made it so hard for me that day. I’m never considering using this car service ever again. She should get fired, this store is located in such a high speed road I could have gotten hurt crossing streets and I had my kids with me and a tons of luggage. There’s nothing enterprise can do to get me to “try” to rent with them ever again. So don’t try.

Extremely disappointed by the service here. Be aware they can just throw out your reservation.

My flight was delayed approx 30 minutes. Upon landing, I phoned them to say I'd be late. I would have arrived around 5pm and they close at 530pm. The rep on the phone said I missed my time and there's nothing they can do.gg

This is the worst service I have ever received.as my husband is a former employee who always recommended enterprise to everyone. He took pride in saying enterprise provided the best customer service in the industry. After making them millions of dollars, getting other people hired and alwaysspeaking extremely highly of enterprise and recommending them to everyone, we were tested terribly, given a ton of attitude, this location decided to not rent us vehicles anymore and would not say why. I would recommend literally any other rental car company over this enterprise location. They have gone so downhill and provided the absolute worst customer service.they forced a $20 upswell after they did not have the car we ordered. The car’s ac didn’t work, It had a check engine light and smelled like smoke. This was the worst experience ever.

Called in early morning with an urgent situation to rent a car one way from SAN to PHX. Was told that the driver had to have a CA license and a DEBIT CARD due to the trip being one way.ok fine, thats perfect. On my reservation it clearly states in big block letters DEBIT CARD: we go to pick up the rental and the girl at the counter (who claimed to be the manager) says it HAS to be a credit card NOT a debit card due to THEIR store policy and that she could not approve the debit card because "CORPORATE would come down on her" So i call corporate and they tell me that its up to the individual locations store manager to accept the debit card and that it is completely within their realm and they are authorized to accept debit cards. So! Besides her being rude, talking over me while i tried to desperately explain the urgent situation and being unhelpful, this woman lied AND could have helped us but CHOSE not to. I will never rent from Enterprise again and i will actively advise friends, family, colleagues and business associates to also stay away from Enterprise if this is the level of customer service and support they offer they customers in desperate times.

Additionally, it states the following in the policy on my reservation:

Important Branch Information
Debit cards are accepted at time of rental when:
• the name and address shown on the renter’s driver’s license matches the current home address;
• the home address is within 50 miles of the renting branch OR the renter’s driver’s license is from the same state where the rental branch is located;
• active duty military personnel are exempt from address requirements

We met the first two bullet points.

I am disgusted and appalled with this branch and company. Stay away from Enterprise.

Needed a Rental to take to Tijuana as on the website it states you need a special insurance for that, but they tell you that you are not allowed to take the cars across the borde. That is the reason I wanted a Rental. This is so inconvenient.

We rented a Mustang convertible for our vacation and couldn’t have been happier with the vehicle and customer service. Thanks especially to Gunnar for helping us with such a smooth check in and drop off! It was a really fun way to enjoy the beautiful San Diego weather!

Lindsay was amazing. Got us in and out quickly. Car performed well, was relatively clean. While this isn't the closest enterprise, it will now be the one we go to.

Always a pleasure renting from this location. Customer service is always very helpful and accommodating with my needs with a warm and friendly smile. Definitely will keep my business.

Very ugly untire attitude can be verified I would rather not challenge that I'm making the ugly accusation service was unreal lies diffuser to rent to certain individual this s*** my Wells Fargo bank card did not check out that my car was a prepaid card when I had all Bank information and deposit

Had a couple of hiccups with my reservation but the manager scrambled to make things right. Thank you!

The worst person, the worst experience, addition to being rude and haughty, she gave me her card, incredible that this is the face of the company, they dont now about customer service, really if u need a car this is no the best place!

Fast friendly service. I was not comfortable in the first car I got.
They found one to fit me at no extra charge.

Great experience, thus far! Due to maintenance issues with my reservation vehicle, I was even upgraded to a better vehicle class at no extra charge. I chose this Enterprise location because the airport rental companies charge extra fees that are associated with the airport.
