Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I got the Mitsubishi Mirage, and it was terrible. Runs rough and sounds rough. To boot, there was a squeaky noise coming from right front corner, like there's a dying animal in the glove compartment. The noise lasted, intermittently, for 15 minutes of my morning drive. I called customer service where I was at, and they couldn't swap it out because all they had left were trucks.

Only real issue I have is that I would expect my vehicle to be ready for the time I have pickup scheduled. Other than that great experience.

Impressed with the staff at Oakland Enterprise. The staff is working outside, which makes their jobs a bit more difficult with trying to read slates in the sun. I had failed to coordinate my flight arrival time and my rental pickup time by several hours, but the staff member took care of the problem in a friendly and professional manner. The return went smoothly, except the signage directing you to the Car Rental Returns were really lacking; kinda of like those funny memes "they had one job"; had to circle around to find the second sign (not Enterprises fault, but they may want to discuss this with the Airport Management).

I went directly to the type of vehicle that I rented, like I've done a numerous airport rental locations. Checked the minivan and proceeded to the exit booth. I was turned back at the exit booth, because they do not offer direct access to your rental vehicles at this location. I had to go back and process through the customer service counter. For the inconvenience, the customer service rep said that I did not have to fill the tank on the minivan, when I brought it back. Since I was going to drop it off at 2: 30 AM, I thought that was great, only to find that there was no mention of that on my rental agreement. I brought it back full, just so I wouldn't get the added fuel charge after I had left Oakland.

I believe the young lady who helped me out name is Breana. She hands down offered top tier customer service. Really pleasant to deal with her. I couldn’t locate a card needed to complete my transaction and Breana was super patient.

The Enterprise office at Oakland Intl Airport (OAK) is convenient to reach via a 5 minute ride on the regular shuttle bus from the airport. The staff was friendly and made sure I got the specific vehicle I wanted. The vehicle was clean and in excellent working condition, I had no problems at all with the rental and the vehicle. Will definitely rent there again.

My Experience was excellent per usual. The Customer Service, easy transaction, car, location were all perfect. I only rent cars from enterprise no matter where I am or what the cost. Enterprise has been my choice for over 10 years. Thank you once again Enterprise

Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Oakland Airport was really a great experience for my husband and I. We were pleased with the car assigned to us. Everything went so smoothly from check out to cheeck in. The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Great customer focus Enterprise Staff!

Good experience but charged $5 / day to use toll roads in addition to the tolls, and did not disclose that upfront when I specifically asked. Gotta find a way to squeeze out a few more dollars…

In the old days, on our vacations I used to choose whatever was the least expensive car rental company. Two times with two diff UN-named less expansive car rental companies we nearly missed our return home flights due to terrible cus service and or long waits to get the car returned. Also I tend to do a LOT of miles on our vacations, so in my case I purposely choose an economy car to save on gas. Esp.now mid 2022, gas prices are thru the roof so getting the type of car I actually booked was important to me. In the past with those OTHER car rental companies. I"d reserve one type of car, but most of the time I got a totally different sized car than I wanted.well, just wasn't great. Long story short since I have been using Enterprise even locally a few times, everything has always gone extremely smoothly, cars are always in great shape, NO surprises no up sells. Enterprise may cost a little more than the cheap rental car companies of the day, but it's been my experience I always have a great "stress free experience " with Enterprise, and I highly recommend them.

Car was fine. Pickup was easy. Staff was nice. No complaints overall. But…

Only issue - car not equipped with a fastrak transponder for bridge tolls which meant I was to cross a bridge and then be billed after. Which is fine but then Enterprise charged me the toll which was $7.00 and tacked on a $4.95 SERVICE FEE (!?) ? So because Enterprise doesn’t have the car equipped with the transponder, I paid the toll plus a 71% service fee to Enterprise? The bridges in the Bay Area no longer have toll takers so no option - not really fair.

That’s why they got a four star instead of five.

The car was ready, clean, and dependable. The staff was courteous, and helpful. Check-out and check-in were quick and easy. From start to finish a great experience.

I rent often and had a wonderful experience with my car rental. Kardale T did an amazing job and getting me set up in my car and I really appreciated the car choice.

I was very impressed with their quick check-in and check-out process. I'm very happy that I didn't get the heavy handed pressure for add-ons and appreciated their friendly attitude at pick-up/drop-off.
