Absolutely the worst customer service experience today! I am a very busy ER Dr working in LA graveyard shifts and have a rental loaner for my vehicle through my geico insurance while my car is in the shop. The first rental loaner sounds like the transmission is falling out and I have 1.5 hr commutes both ways to the hospital for graveyard shift. I called this location this morning and spoke to Heather before I drove 20 minutes down to get a replacement rental car. I advised her of my situation and my main question was what cars do they currently have available for a trade for my current broken rental, and that I am happy to pay the difference to upgrade my rental from whatever Geico coves. She specifically looked up my account by my phone number and then stated they have many cars- “sedans and small SUV’s”. I had called 3 other locations before calling San Clemente that had no cars available, so I wanted to be clear before driving to this town. Upon arrival, Heather hid in the bathroom once she saw me arrive and the supposed manager guy informed me they have no cars besides 2 mini cooper sized tiny cars that looked unsafe to drive long commutes in LA traffic. He said all other 15-20 cars on the lot were ALL reserved. He did not apologize once I explained Heather told me specifically all of these other cars were available? And frankly I do not believe that they were all reserved. I’ll be sending Enterprise Corporate a letter as well. Absolutely the worst customer service after just finishing a 24 hr graveyard shift saving lives all night. Geico is sending me to another renal car company. SO RUDE

Made a reservation a month ahead. I was not told until 2 days before that I needed a credit card (mine had expired) bank issued replacement that did not arrive until late on the day of reservation. I went to office to explain, was told the reservation would not be cancelled. Arrived the following day, no car available and they admitted there had been no car on the previous day.
Go to Hertz - had a choice of two cars and less expensive

Our vehicle broke down today and we needed a vehicle just for a day. They are a small location and had everything rented out but were able to accommodate us. And despite being just 3 employees they were gracious, efficient and helpful. Maddie and Brady were awesome. We will always use Enterprise! We know these times are challenging with staffing and supply. Thank you for accommodating us and just being great to work with.

After a huge run around with roadside assistance sending us to this location when they had no cars available, waiting forever on a Uber that would never come because they don’t pick up on the side of the interstate. The staff went above and beyond here! And helped us get into a car so we could get back on our vacation!

This location was incredible to work with. A family member needed to rent a car multiple times and was treated with respect and with great fairness.

Enterprise is horrible now I rent a car for 4 day and each day was $36 plus taxes around $40 so my total it has to be 160 but this lady charged me 200 dollars I don't think taxes are the high this is a really bad experience first and last time

Their cars are often quite dirty as was the case with the Camry that I rented, but that car was unlawful to drive because there was no front license plate, and the rear license plate had no registration tags. Everything was fixed to my satisfaction, thus 5 stars

Luca was incredible. Easily the quickest and most efficient rental car service I’ve ever experienced. Luca was extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to notate any minor damage to the vehicle. 5/5. Will absolutely return my business to this location. Thanks, Luca!

Did not take personal bank cards or cash. Only credit cards but didnt inform us until after pickup. Wanted another $200 hold on the card. Wouldnt go throo because the hotel already had a hold. He offered us a ride back and then went inside for about 20 minutes leaving us outside without saying anything! We ebded up Ubering.

I have 2 thoughts to share regarding my recent Enterprise rental. One positive, one negative.
On day-2 of my 1100 mile drive home, with a Nissan 'Armada' as my rental (did not request this type car, it was the only SUV available at my originating rental station), at my first refueling stop on an interstate in Western U. S, got two "maintenance alerts" on my instrument display. One involved the "oil system", and the other said to "perform maintenance on tires. " Did not specify which tire. In case these alerts were triggered by the car's "scheduled maintenance" program, I accessed the car's scheduled maintenance program, and increased the time interval between "oil change" and "tire rotation", in hopes this would erase the "alerts. " Had no effect. At a service station, I had the tires checked by a mechanic, and 1 1/2 quarts of oil added (all it would take to fill). Still, the alerts would not erase. Made the decision to get rid of this car at the next Enterprise rental location along my route.
Now, for the 'positive' feedback: the manager on duty at the St. George, UT airport could not have been more helpful in getting me on my way, in a very reasonable amount of time, in a replacement SUV. She also included a free "tank of gas" for my trouble. My appreciation and thanks to the St. George, UT Enterprise station manager who patiently listened to my "maintenance woes", and found a car for me to continue my journey, and all this I might add, with NO notice. I just "showed up" at her counter in the airport, and she took it from there. Enterprise has great employees. Thank you.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car in San Clemente was a great experience for me. They were genuinely kind and courteous which can be rare in these trying times. They also showed pride in their positions and made the most of their customer service opportunities. I think most people are very loyal to great customer service and I am no exception. You have my loyalty and look forward to my next Enterprise experience. Thanks to Enterprise San Clemente for making me feel appreciated!

We rent once a month for business trips. Enterprise has been on top of all COVID procedures, masked and UV sterilization.

Unfortunately, this experience was not up to par. Although the reservation had been made on line previously, the car was not ready. The facility apparently does not have washing capability, so the car had not been washed. Nor had the interior been cleaned. As a result the attendant had to begin the vacuuming process after I checked in, resulting in a delay. Other than vacuuming, I am not aware of any other sanitizing process that was done. The car itself drove fine.

Five stars to the entire team!

It’s no small task working thru the challenges of Covid 19 and Enterprise not only made it possible to minimize the Finacial impact but they met the demands that renting a car on Sunday creates

They are exceeded every hope I had and helped me make it thru a MAJOR SITUATION WHICH INVOLVED TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM MEDICAL TREATMENTS

I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO THEM!

You guys saved me a ton of money. When I 1st got to California I had to rent from hertz. The car smelled of smoke and had an empty beer bottle in it. My trip was booked the same day I left and u guys did not have any cars available. The hertz car was so expensive. Like 3 time more. Not to mention your staff was so much more friendlier than Hertz. Thanks again for being amazing.

Overall my experience was good. The car worked out perfect and we had no issues. My only concern is that the Enterprise location that I picked up at was under staffed. Myself another gentleman (both with prior reservations) had to wait 30 minutes to receive assistance.
