I rented a car for 2 weeks, my car was under an insurance company, it was not a luxury, I ended up paying more than what my insurance company pays,
through an insurance company that was given to me by the person who, according to what I heard, said that if I didn't want it, I would call him to remove it, I would call him and then he said no, he never talks to him. Then I went to the place, he said he would call me to resolve the problem and until the date I have not received your call.
My insurance paid 350
And I paid 389 dollars

The customer service was wonderful. Everything was explained and the car was very clean. Great people to rent a vehicle from.

Unfortunately, I have to give them one star because I can't leave zero stars. I'm not sure Enterprise is aware of how a reservation works. At the end of the day, I was left with no vehicle, a canceled trip, and an explanation that made no sense about why they couldn't honor my reservation. I spoke to a friend who told me the same exact thing had happened to them. I don't know how they stay in business if this is how they treat customers. My one request to Enterprise is that they have the common courtesy to tell customers they're not going to honor their reservation sooner than 5pm on a Friday night before the customer is planning on picking up the vehicle. Based on the explanation I was given about why they couldn't provide me with a vehicle, I'm wondering why anyone would want to work for such a horrible company? Corporate sounds like it's the most incompetent group of people placed in one location. (Right, Nathan?) In the future, I won't have this same experience because I won't be wasting my time making a reservation with them.

Nick was very busy today and short staffed but he did an excellent job! The lady he works with was awesome too. They were both friendly, professional and helpful considering their staffing situation. Very happy customer

When my car broke down and I needed a rental asap everyone at the Paso location was incredibly helpful. Nico was amazing and able to get me into a car and went out of there way to pick me up and drop me off when it was time to return my car. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.

This place really let me down!

The day prior to leaving out of town, I went in to enterprise of Paso to pick up my rental that I had a confirmed reservation for. I assumed everything would be all good. I have rented from this location before and everything went smoothly.

They had always requested just two pieces of paper which listed both your full legal name and current residential address, additionally, a valid driver licenses. I had just just rented from them in July and no issue then.

However, this was no longer the companies policy, allegedly. Come to find out that isn’t true in fact and I will mention more about that later.

I had the extreme displeasure of dealing with the branch manger Neil Macias. The encounter started off fine until it wasn’t. He indicated right away that he didn’t have enough cars in stock and was out of the type of model that I reserved via the booking site. One, that isn’t my problem. Two, as a business who made an error, you should do everything in your power to make the situation right and take accountability. That’s not how it went.

I presented my valid drivers license and two forms of paperwork that listed my current residential address and name; one of the two being my paystub from my employer. He did some more stuff on his computer and subsequently tells me 3 minutes later that he can’t rent a car to me. Reason being, I did not have a utility bill with my name on it. I explained to him that I rent and all utilities are included in the price. Because of this, it would be impossible for me to provide that kinda of documentation. He just looked at me unapologetically and said “I don’t know what else to tell you. ” And “well you got think about it from our perspective. ” Excuse me? How about mine? My whole weekend was about to get derailed because of this one minor technicality. Which wasn’t the real issue anyways nor a policy that the company requires. The real reason why this was taking place was because they overbooked and didn’t have enough cars to honor my reservation. So instead of taking accountability for his own error, Neil side-steps the situation implementing an arbitrary policy rendering me unable to rent a car, alleviating him of any wrongdoing.

My follow up was why this policy wasn’t mentioned when he called me early in the day to confirm my reservation. Doesn’t that seem like a pertinent detail you should make customers aware of? He had no definitive response and immediately deflected the question. He issued no apology throughout the entire encounter and exhibited a nonchalant attitudes towards me. Not at all concerned that he was leaving me without a vehicle and potentially derailing my whole weekend. No empathy or concern at all!

Fortunately enough I was able to get to the enterprise of San Luis Obispo adjacent to the airport and get a rental car the next day. Confirmed my booking with them and interestedly enough no utility bill with my name on it was required nor had they enforced and/or heard of such a policy. Neil did mention this was a company-wide policy. I find that difficult to believe.

All in all, Neil you are neither professional in your demeanor nor a business leader with any integrity or empathy. You make excuses instead of taking accountability. You deflect blame when it’s evidently your fault. You refuse to answer questions when the response to those questions might make you look bad. Lastly, you don’t care about helping customers and had no hesitation to dismiss me without hesitation. A true leader, especially in the context of business, will admit when they’ve made a mistake. How they address and remedy that mistake defines what kind of leader they are. I’m sorry for anyone who is subordinate to him.

I will never be back! I will never recommend this place to anybody! I will speak fairly and honestly to the experience I went through. Additionally, the unnecessary hardship and frustration that is caused me.

I always rent from enterprise. The office I go to in Paso Robles Ca. Has always had what I want & reserved. The vehicle I get is always clean and ready to go. Thank you for always having what I need.

Horrible! Wont except Chime credit unless you can verify your address with additional mail. NOTHING states this on the website or in a confirmation email. Will not be renting from Enterprise again! Horrible service!

I rent here at least once a week for work. The staff are fantastic, and I've only been stuck with an SUV or truck once due to low inventory. They can't always control what they have on the lot, so I'm sure there's someone out there who was disappointed. As a frequent flyer, so to speak, I know these guys do everything they can to get you on the rose quickly and safely. Looks like they rotate management staff, but I've always had great service regardless.

Paso Robles office was clean, with very friendly counter personnel. Car was available and we got to pick or model. They kept in touch with us while our car was being repaired.
