I've been coming here for 6 months and I love it! Great community of SF people and it's easy to become involved quickly and as much as you want (low commitment). There are dozens of groups that meet at various times throughout the week with diverse interests/hobbies and/or ages. The young professionals group is a good place to meet new friends for young adults around 20-30 years old and hang out. I'm also a part of Spanish speaking, rock climbing, Bible study, and sermon discussion groups.

I was new to SF but Epic quickly became my primary community outside of school/work.

I have been attending Epic for over 8 years and have found it to be a Church committed to fostering a welcoming and Christ centered faith community. I love how diverse the community is and their focus on building meaningful connections and encouraging all who attend to take next steps of faith.

I have been to many churches over the years. When I came to Epic, I knew I was home. It's a very diverse community. Everyone comes from a different journey, but all have a space here. No one has to be perfect. This place is not perfect. But together is better. This is a perfect place for imperfect people to grow together regardless where we had been.

Great church! Very welcoming and friendly, met lots of amazing people across different life stages that I have gotten to know over time. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for community and want to get plugged in.

Our family was invited to Epic by friends that were already attending, about 7 years ago. We had been waiting, as seeking out a new church seemed daunting when we had been members of our previous church for so long. As a young family, we were keen to find a church that not only fed the adults, but also had a strong children’s program in place as we have two daughters (who were 6 & 1 at the time).

On entering Epic, we were so warmly greeted, encouraged to sign up for a small group, and even left with gifts! We signed up for a family small group, and it was so warm and inviting - one of the youth in the church attended to provide babysitting during the meetings, there was food and earnest discussion about the weekly sermon. We found ourselves suddenly at home in this new church in downtown - which was such a surprise to us! We thought for sure we would need to attend a church outside of the city in order to find something that had a growing kids program. We’ve come to see Epic’s kids program (babies to 5th grade) grow to a robust and active students program (6th to 12th grade) and it has been such a joy to see our daughter engage in their own spiritual journeys. Our daughters are now 14 and 8 and they love Epic Kids and Epic Students.

Besides the kids programs, my husband and I have both grown so much with Epic. We’ve felt challenged by the messages, supported by the community when we experienced hardships, and have both been giving of our time and talents to walk alongside Epic as the church grows and serves San Francisco and supports churches and programs around the world.

We absolutely love Epic and can’t recommend it enough!

Being part of Epic Church has helped me get more rooted in the place that I have been calling my HOME for the last 11 years. I am also grateful that I found some solid community and strong friendships from attending the church and Epic has led me to invest in serving my community in my own little way.

This is more than a place, it’s a community. You’re greeted with a warm handshake and smile, a cup of Philz coffee and a parking ticket reimbursement - all in the first few minutes you visit! If you’re new and don’t know anyone, the friendly people who come to EPIC will not pass by you without saying hello and making you feel welcome to observe or join the worship service or just hang out and get to know the people who serve and enjoy sharing the good news about Jesus and you. Or you can sign up and join the many small groups throughout the week who meet to discuss and share lives, interests and burdens. There no conditions for you to be part of this vibrant and authentic community, just a heart searching for answers and an open mind. Come on over!

I started attending services at Epic Church SF in the Fall of 2019. In March of 2020, Epic pivoted and started doing everything virtually. Even with the pandemic and going completely online, my faith deepened as I attended service every week along with small groups. Epic became home and each person I “met” in the community has become like family. I am so proud of this beautiful church in SF with people tuning in all across the country and throughout the world (40+ countries). I am so grateful to my fiancé for bringing me home to Epic.

I visited Epic Church 2 years ago when I moved to SF, and I have been a member since. Epic Church is a unique community that puts emphasis in community of believers, but they equally serve prospective believers or non believers in the city in various ways. I have been happy and thankful to have found my spiritual home here in SF, thanks to Epic Church!

Epic is an amazing, diverse church and community to be a part of. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I really find the weekly sermons inspirational and relatable. It’s a growing church that has 4 Sunday gathering times to attend–you can join online or in person (limited in-person gatherings for now due to the pandemic). Highly recommend this church if you’re looking to find a church community in San Francisco.

I needed a new church to attend when my other church folded. At first, I didn't want to attend a big church. But once I found out that Pastor Ben had a goofy sense of humor, I decided on this church. It was also easy to volunteer for them.

I found Epic Via a web search before I moved to the city. I’m so grateful that I did. It has made a cross country move so much sweeter, because I found community and true friendships quickly, at Epic church. It has offered me vast opportunity to serve, in Soma and SF area. If you try Epic church out, you will find a warm welcome, encouragement, and truthful teaching. And let me not forget to mention the awesome music, Seth Condrey and the team bring it every single week! Love Epic and the people there, so much!

Good, growing church, loving and welcoming. The worship leader is super talented. Plenty of opportunities to serve and get involved.

Moving to the Bay Area a few years ago, I found this church through friends and fell in love with it. During the virus, Epic moved online and adapted quickly so that everyone could still feel supported and connected. Epic Church feels different because it provides a family for the people who attend, but it’s also determined about impacting the SF community in a positive way by supporting so many local charities and organizations that are changing this city for the better. If you need a church home or just to feel supported, check it out ASAP!

Great and healthy church. Joined a couple of months ago, and feels like home even during the pandemic. Awesome leaders and people with an amazing diversity.
Most importantly, a church that has the grounds on the bible and the gospel.
