Eppies Restaurant reviews
19A hidden gem! Audrey and the Servers are a delight. Sean is invaluable to the quality of of your meals. He's a leader because he has no weakness. I'm convinced he has the knowledge to smooth any ripple.
My experience was horrible. The waitress was some older lady who was lazy, forgetful and wholely disregarded my table. I had to wipe dry my table, grab essentials from other places and even had to Scratch off a set of pancakes because she never brought them. Oh the food quality is poor and there was a hair on my egg yolk. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
Good owner nice on her Restaurant is very clean And the food is very very good so thank you very much for your service for feeding people at a reasonable price
We love Eppies breakfast and right now with the low water, water fowl watching is at a premium, but you have to get those front row seat tables! Really nice waitresses and service. Lots of parking and right off the causeway if you want to stop to get out of those constant traffic jams. Outdoor seating too!
Not sure why African food popped up when I put in NIGERIAN FOOD, burgers and fries. It's AMERICAN food but the food is decent here. No complaints
The is very good, but not as good as the service. Usually eat breakfast there once every week. Really enjoy it there.
Prompt and friendly service. Standard diner fare through out the menu. The ice tea and patty melt was good. The pies look tasty.
My friend had the turkey dinner and I had bell pepper soup and tuna sandwich with a side of corn bread everything was delicious!
While staying at Sac West RV park, we came here last night for dinner and today for breakfast. Wow, the food is so good! We noticed that there are many regulars, which is a good sign to us. I recommend the Eppie’s Favorite Scramble!
The food is good. Cook is not to good as fixing foods.it still a nice place to eat. A meal
Everything was cooked perfect I loved it to the waitress was very attentive and great for me it was nice and quiet I will go back there every time I'm in the area
EDIT: I added one more star for the great customer service from the owner.
It’s a decent restaurant. Has an awesome view of a waterway. The reason I gave three stars though is due to the sanitation of the restaurant. The tables are all sticky, there’s bugs on windowsills, dust everywhere. It’s also very very muggy inside, humid like Florida. But, food is pretty good
Small town feel with typical coffee shop menu. Large portions. Properly prepared. Don't bother with the Benedict which is tasteless. Homefries are wonderful.
We stopped in after seeing the cafe was still open. Not knowing anything about the food but remembering the great race. I had the Reuben, which was delicious. The real corned beef brisket was something i have been seaking for some time now. I have been looking for a traditional Reuben sandwich, and Eppie's has it. Two of my favorites, corned beef hash with poached eggs and the Reuben, together in one place.
This was a restaurant visited when growing up here in West Sacramento. It was nice to see it had moved into a new building. I can't eat because I have a feeding tube, however I can enjoy liquids. I had a strawberry milkshake. It was creamy and not too thick and not too thin. It had a fresh strawberry taste as if the strawberries were just picked and put in the milkshake. My sister ordered the blt in a croissant sandwich. She said it was perfect because it was not swimming in mayo. The bacon was crisp and not black the lettuce and tomato tasted like they have a garden out back and had just harvested them.
Her sandwich came with steak cut fries and were seasoned well.
The dining area is clean and it has that local restaurant vibe with the coloring pictures on the walls and the checkout area from all of the children throughout the community.
The staff treat you like family and are very warm and inviting.
Great food at a great price. I'm surprised that they aren't busier! This place is a hidden gem.
Service is always unpredictable. Same for the wait times and quality of the food. I draw the line at being ignored for 20 minutes while I wait patiently for my order to be taken. Won’t go back.
Sat outside. Went inside twice to remind them I was outside. Went in a third time and could not get anyone’s attention. Left disappointed and upset. I always tip well and I’ll be damned if I’m going to spend money and tip for being treated like I’m not even there.
Good local/small chain restaurant with lots of comfort food selections. Handled our brunch group of 20.
One of my favorite take out stops. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Try the garlic mushroom chicken
