Erva Brew Co. Yerba Mate, Pasadena CA

Such a wonderful find! I had never tried yerba mate before but the owner was so thorough in explaining its properties. I love caffiene but can't really digest coffee, but the passionfruit yerba mate was so refreshing without causing jitters. For how fresh everything is, the prices are super reasonable. The Peruvian cookies are so soft and delicious as well:)

Delicious drinks, I love their specials menu! We got the Bartenders Special and the Carmel apple seasonal. I always love seasonal drinks this time of year and this did not disappoint!

Amazing Mate, highly recommended! They use organic ingredients and can make any drink unsweetened. Juan was really awesome and so accommodating:)

The cutest Cafe and one of a kind maté bar. The staff is eclectic, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a very quaint vibe and they don't make you feel silly asking about the product, which isn't well known to everyone. By the way, the maté is delicious! I highly recommend the maté latte and the iced ginger lime maté. Great job Erva

This is my FAVORITE TEA! Hands down! They’re lucky I don’t live down the street because I’d be there first thing every morning. I’d be the mayor of this store if they had an election lol. Try this place if you see them at a festival or farmers market…. And visit the brick and mortar too!

If you're a fan of tea cafes, you'll enjoy yourself - well run, clean, and welcoming, it's a great place to meet a friend or catch up on work. I enjoyed my tea and my friend loved her empanada - we'll be back

This was my first time at a Yerba Mate bar and our server, Adriana, was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and improved my group's experience. The yerb was high quality and I appreciated the vegan empanada options (sweet and two savory, quoina and lentil and eggplant). They had a variety of boardgames that were amusing and entertaining including banana grams and Janga. A perfect ambiance and accessibility for all ages and abilities (wheel chair friendly). Overall a wonderful experience and I would love to see this store expand to more areas! Thank you Adriana and owner!

Rylee was an awesome server.
We sat at the bar for almost an hour having a wonderful conversation and getting a few rounds of tea when we originally thought we would be in and out.
All in all, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful little treasure this place is a gem. Riley was so sweet and helpful. We had the hibiscus lemon and a berries empanada. The hibiscus lemon was delicious and so pretty too. The berries empanadas were good too. Ten out of ten totally recommend. The location is super cute.

Super nice barista let me know which drink to try, cause I had absolutely no idea.it was empty when I got there but a peaceful environment.i got the tulsi passion drink.im used to more sweet teas or coffees (Starbucks) it is definitely not sweet, but it’s not bitter.it has a sort of sour taste but a good kind of sour.definitely different from what I’ve had but I enjoyed it. I typically like drinking less sweet teas in general but this place is worth it.
