Customer service person at 10 a.m. Yes its on board for today.
Customer service person at 3 p.m. I am sorry but this is not on board for today. It will have to pickup tomorrow.
Day 3 almost 3 p.m. Driver no show customer service number has me on hold for 20 minutes now. This one is set by the consignee.
Horrible Customer Service. They lie to you to get you off the phone. Or when you call they will just hang up on you. They just keep rolling over pick ups because they don't want to go to certain areas. I have been rolled over 4 days now and they are not answering my calls. Now, they just hang up because they have no more excuses. We are no longer going to use this horrible company. Don't waste your valuable time with them.
Horrible drivers and service. Employees are not professional. One of their drivers hit my mirror and took off.
Your San Fernando, CA customer service rep lady who worked on Friday 10/28/22 morning at 10: 43am is the rudest person I have ever met in my LIFE. She fought over the phone with me arguing I have the wrong PRO number when she input the wrong numbers after I repeat 3 times.
Delivery man came to my apartment, I live on the second floor told me that he would leave my big heavy packages at the bottom of the stairs. I told him I can't bring it up I'm by myself and he said he wouldn't do it. He went back to his truck and then just left with my packages. The whole point I got delivery is because I can't bring it up myself, it's 4 boxes that contain a bed. Customer service called me and then told me that I can pay for white glove service so it can be delivered to my door. A delivery company that doesn't deliver to your door, if you live in an apartment on the second floor. This is the last time I order from a place that uses this company. Who knows when I'll get my kids bed now. Unbelievable
These guys were absolutely incredible. And a huge shout out to Tracy because she made it all happen. My package arrived at the local hub later than it should to get it out the same day. They went above and beyond to get me my item that I needed the same day. Never have I had a shipping company do and act as great as they did. Definitely ship with Estes Express they are a remarkable shipping company!
I reached out to Estes in San Fernando Valley about a an important shipment of four pallets coming from Las Vegas and delivering in the Los Angeles area. The person who answered the phone was courteous, he put me in touch with the manager and she took my name< gave me her email. The delivery of all four pallets in perfect condition occurred as promised. Fair rate too. I have struggled with another carrier losing my shipments, being late. This was seamless and a relief to find Estes.
I see all of the Estes trucks on the road all nice, clean, and shiny. Only if they took care of our freight the same way.
I shipped 5 shipments with Estes and they smashed up 4 of them. I am assuming the 5th shipment had to be damaged and the customer did not call.
How most of the freight damage occurs is: when they consolidate and move all of the freight from one state to another state. When they consolidate the freight, they absolutely smash as much freight as they can into the trailer without taking into consideration if the freight is stackable or not or if it is fragile.
How you can tell your freight is going to arrive damaged is: the shipment will be one day late. They have to re-wrap up the damaged freight and wait one more day to move the freight to the next destination.
When you call into complain, the reps are trained to say just file a claim. They are completely oblivious to the amount of harm and the money they cost end customers.
The damage to Estes freight they cause is all just added to the cost of doing business and it is all calculated into the cost of future shipments.
Dispatch is responsive, I've just recently started interacting with Tracey and she's been a great, reliable, responsive dispatcher great to have her being part of the Estes team!
Prior to Tracy S.showing up with Estes, it was very challenging to even get answers from the previous person in position. Since Tracy has come on board, hands down Estes has been the most consistent and reliable of all our regular carriers. She is responsive, honest and transparent which are all traits that are appreciated. It's not always good news but at least you know where things are at as opposed to left wondering. Excellent hire Estes and she should be your prototype for all dispatch supervisors. She single handedly changed your company's reputation in a short period of time. Thanks so much Tracy!
Dispatch representative was very helpful in getting our orders picked up timely without issue. Highly recommend!
Either the driver that delivers to our business is inexperienced or lazy. We always have to go out to the parking lot driveway to receive the pallets as he never backs up into our dock because "he has a 53' ft trailer and can't make the turn". We have countless pickups and deliveries from different companies every week yet he is the only one that causes this inconvenience for us. Even when it rains we have to go outside with our forklift which is unsafe as the asphalt is wet and slippery. I have attached images that show a 53 ft trailer WITH a sleeper backed up into our dock yet the Estes delivery driver doesn't have a sleeper and cant make the turn. The driver's name is Joe. Either assign this guy a box truck or send a driver that can & will back up into our dock.
The San Fernando Freight Company "Estes Express" division should be put out of business simply because
1. They NEVER Answer the PHONE
2. They LIE to you when they supposedly schedule a delivery date
3. When the delivery date finally arrives, they NEVER SHOW UP, or have the COURTESY TO CALL THE CUSTOMER
4. Nearly 30 days later, still NO CALL to schedule a delivery date
This company is by far the worst Freight Company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor, Stay away from this company. It's a total joke on how it's being operated.
As per the so called Owner, Go ahead and dial the phone number of the San Fernando Valley Facility and you will find out for yourself what many of us customers are experiencing by your crew.
If your really the Owner? You should get rid of everybody that works in the office, and start hiring people that are willing to work, and safe your business from going under.
Horrible management/ customer service at the Sun Valley site. Their guarantees mean nothing.
Missed delivery three times, phone lines gets disconnected often, the computer system is down often.very friendly phone assistances but useless when nothing else is working.will not work with them again
If I could give this company a negative star, i would. By far, the worst company to get any information from. Not sure how they do business with the public. I waite three times for over an hour and got hung up on.
This company is very unprofessional.this is the worst delivery service, my schedule for delivery was for today.and now they just told me my next schedule will be next week what the h! Is this?

I wish there was 0. They are late they change their delivery time multiple times and each time they will postpone it by a week.it was taking 10 days to deliver an item which was 7 miles away (form Sun Valley CA to Van Nuys CA) in the last leg!
Waiting for delivery for Two weeks from Sun Valley warehouse holding my shipment. 45 min calling and they just hang up my call. So called back again and waited so long just for voice message we are closed.
There's no way of getting representative to answer the phone. The automated service tries to reach a representative for 10 minutes. No answer. If I was the owner I consider hiring more people to keep customer satisfaction.
