Ebony always does excellent work. Got a moisture treatment, hair was nice and soft afterwards. She did me a nice cute box braid style. Will be coming back for some hair treatments. I feel confident she will help me get my hair healthy again.

All I can say is Awesome! Ebony is so talented and knowledgeable. She takes her time, is courteous and respectful. I have been going to Ebony for a little over a yr or so and each time my silk press turns out great. She has also done my daughters hair of which turned out great as well.
Trust me booked with her and you won’t regret it!

Overpriced for a basic silk press. You can go anywhere in LA and get the same thing done for $75 ….

Please Please please read her yelp reviews. They are not lying, there is multiple reviews talking about the horrible experience they had here. Please do not go here if you want heat damage. It is over priced and will leave your hair straight forever. I do not want anyone to have the experience I had.

I received the worst heat damage here. When I tried to talk to the stylist about lowering the heat, she gave me a hard time and told me I had come to her salon. She then said I should have picked someone else if I had a problem with how she does things. I still got my hair straightened because she would have charged me half of the service (over 100). She tried to assure me she wouldn't damage it. But, due to this damage, I had to cut off two inches of my hair. I have been getting my hair straightened for the last ten years and have never had that amount of heat damage. Please do not go here if you want to revert to your natural curl pattern.

Ebony is the best silk press in L. A! She requires a protein and moisture treatment with your press to ensure silky tresses. My hair has never looked better. She takes her time and makes sure to only trim your ends (not more) if that is what you requested. I can’t wait to return- my silk press lasted 2 weeks and was extremely straight the whole time! You definitely want to book with her. The place also has great parking.

So I’ve been going to Ebony at Eunique Strands for almost a year and my hair is in the best shape it has ever been in my LIFE! My hair was extremely damaged and I was ashamed to wear my natural hair out due to me having traction alopecia. Ebony changed all of that! She made me fall in love with my natural hair! She is the BEST! She is all about hair care and it shows in her work. My hair is silky, lustrous and most of all Healthy thanks to Ebony. She is professional, knowledgeable and her salon is always clean. Book with Ebony you won’t regret it!

I was having trouble with maintaining the upkeep of my daughters hair and my daughters hair not only came out super silky but her hair remained healthy, no breakage or damage whatsoever, went in for a touch up and my daughters hair has grown and so much more healthier than before.

Horrific experience. Stay away from this place. I came here for a silk press and expressed my concerns for heat damage and she assured me that as long as I didn’t get the service often my hair would be fine. Two weeks later I wash my hair and it literally looks like ramen noodles. I contacted her and she offers to do a protein treatment (no remorse) which I politely declined because she refused to send me my before and after photos because she knows she messed up my hair. I can provide proof if she wants to dispute my experience. This is just my first step of many as I hope nobody ever has to go through this devastating experience. EVERYTHING CAN BE PROVEN CHECK PHOTOS.

I hadn’t had my hair professionally done in years. It needed manageability and strength in addition to clean ends. Ebony took my dry damaged hair and turned it into a new head of hair with the taming treatment. It was also uneven, but without taking away too much length and still cleaning up the split ends, it looked completely healthy. Will definitely be back!

Ebony was amazing. I suffer from a scalp condition that makes my scalp & hair challenging for most stylist to deal with. In addition to my scalp condition, my I’m a transitioning natural so my hair is all type of diff textures. I have challenging hair. Ebony was extremely knowledgeable of my scalp condition and hair woes. Not only did Ebony slay my hair, but she educated me on how to better care fo my hair and scalp. I left the her salon looking and feeling amazing! I highly recommend! ALSO, I loooove that she didn’t over-trim. I have trust issues when it comes to allowing stylists to cut or trim my hair - bc some stylists do tooo much Ebony talked me through the trimming process BEFORE trimming my hair. She explained to me her recommendations for how much needed to to be cut and educated me about how to properly care for my ends. She also respected my decision to maintain as much length as possible!

I'm so happy I met Ebony after by long time beautician moved out of state. Ebony is go and she really does a great job of pressing my hair. Her pressing last a long time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is into healthy hair.
