Eureka! Mountain View

Had the fish and chips, but it was fish and fries. Portions were good. They prepare their own "tartar" sauce. Would have preferred traditional. Would have also preferred coleslaw. Overall, it had a good taste. Restaurant has lots of hard surfaces, so it's on the noisy side.

Came with a group on a Sunday - delicious food and lots of drink options. Serve was quick and attentive.

Highly rec the NA farmers market cocktail! It changes as they acquire new and different ingredients.

Also rec the Mac and cheese balls and brussels sprouts apps!

They found out it was my bday so they surprised me w a little I cream and a candle too, v sweet.

The burger was ok, although when it arrives the meat was already cold, but the fries were piping hot. Seemed like they were cooked at different times.

The service was not great, I had to wait very long for someone to pick up my order, and at checkout I was charged the wrong price for the burger. When asked to correct this I had to wait 15 minutes before I got a new receipt - something that should have taken maybe a minute in my opinion, especially if the customer is already leaving. That was really unacceptable in my opinion and bring the score to 3/5.

Main street USA pub atmosphere in the best possible way: beers, burgers, and booze! Slightly hyperbolic, but all that with an eye to quality and taste. Lively crowd, obviously a local favorite.

We always look forward to eating here because the drinks, food, and environment are great! I really love the bison with the roasted chilies!

Been here many times, always a nice time with tasty food. Good portions and good service. The food is a bit pricey and it can be pretty loud in the restaurant, but overall very fun.

So I love the food, I love the atmosphere, but I don't understand why there's no changing table in the men's room.
My husband handles our daughter when I'm having a particularly bad health day, and he was stuck using his sweater on the sink counter because there was no changing table in the men's restroom. I honestly feel like it being 2023, we should have more amenities to allow dads to enjoy this type of atmosphere without worrying about availability of facilities.

The food is great and the vibe is amazing. I'm just so sad they still haven't updated to the needs of people.

I cannot be rude and leave out the good things about this place because it's a unique open late restaurant that is great for date night, but our burger happened to be cold and my girlfriend didn't want the burger to be remade but the waiter insisted and when the manager came and asked if we wanted the burger my girlfriend said no and she said "but it's already being made" and she was not the kindest so my girlfriend felt bad an just didn't eat her burger. I love love love the bar tender but the manager just gave me a huge reason to not go back. If you do go just get some drinks, Vincent is the best.

I had the pleasure of dining at Eureka, an American restaurant located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, and it was an absolute treat! The burger I ordered was fantastic, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The decision to replace the fries with spicy ginger fried beans was a brilliant one, as it added a unique twist to the meal.

The overall dining experience was amazing, from the friendly and attentive service to the inviting atmosphere that resonated with a great vibe. Eureka truly knows how to create an enjoyable dining ambiance.
