I will never take my car to another repair place again. European Auto genuinely loves cars and will take amazing care of your car whether it's a Ferrari or a ten year old BMW hatch back. Highly recommended.

John is so amazing. He is a great owner and mechanic. His staff are awesome. I only trust him with my car as a mechanic and won’t take it anywhere else. He’s knowledgeable, courteous, honest, and professional.

John and his crew are the best! I’ve taken my Mercedes there whenever I have an issue and continue to go back for reg maintenance. The crew is super knowledgeable and John does a great job making sure prices are customer friendly and the work is completed timely. Already recommend him to friends and family, so if you’re in need of making sure your car is taken care of. Hit ‘em up!

John is a car genius. His team has worked on my Mercedes and Audi with ease. He is professional, honest, and ethical. It's a pleasure doing business here, they're the absolute best.

I literally can not say enough kind words about John and EAS. I hit a pothole and the MINI dealership quoted me $7k to fix it. I called EAS and told John what the dealership said and he determined he'd likely be able to take care of it for half that price by repairing, rather than unnecessarily replacing some of the parts. Imagine my surprise when he called me to tell me it would actually be HALF of that.

EAS not only saved me $5k, but they went above and beyond by detailing and taking out all of the cosmetic scratches on my car.

John and the team are truly the best and I will never take my car anywhere else!

My car broke down on the freeway in lanes of traffic, hence, an emergency, referred to this place by another (in town) shop owner. John's European's shop was open when I arrived, the employee/ mechanic who was there to assist wanted to take in my car because he saw it onboard an awaiting tow truck.costing me $$$. The mechanic on duty had to call the owner John who gets on the phone with me to say, " I need a relationship with you and that car before I accept it! " "WHAT IN NAME OF HUMAN KINDNESS CAN BE SAID ABOUT THIS COLDNESS, REALLY JOHN?
PS I know of a lot of people, family, neighbors and friends who need a mechanic, this you are not it. Mike (Silver Jaguar on Saturday the day before Mother's day 2023.)

Rene is a very honest person, very specific and detailed about the mecanic problem very happy to have him to fix my car.

They are dumping cars half mile away from their shop.something fishy going on there. Sometimes cars will be picked up months later.for parts? If you take your car there and it disappears, check Saticoy and Rhea it's probably sitting there collecting dust.

Such a great experience here when my BMW threw out a scary code while I was traveling through the area. They told me to drive over right away and helped me out immediately.

Took me a while to write this review because I wanted to digest the entire process and write an honest review.
Here is my experience:

I took my car in to John after being referred to his shop. It is a classic car that was involved in a hit and run accident, it took me six months to find the parts, and I had to pay out of pocket for repairs so I was excited to finally get the car repaired and painted once I found the shop to take on the work. The initial price was fair, and we agreed on additionally upgrading the radiator as well for an extra $800 since he would have the car for a couple of weeks, I figured why not.
John kept me updated on the progress of the repairs via text which was appreciated, and even resprayed and painted additional parts of my car which was a nice touch, and threw on my new steering wheel, which I'm thankful for!

When I went to pick up the car I was impressed with the immaculate repainting and color matching they did of the fender and hood, especially since the car had custom paint. However, maybe it was an oversight or miscommunication on my part but a few things kind of left me wanting -
The hood was not repainted on the underside (the original was).
The fender was not fully repainted so when you open the hood you clearly see where it has been primered but not painted.
After putting in a new radiator it developed a leak which I had to pay out of pocket to fix at a nearby (to me) shop due to European Auto being closed most of December for the holidays, although John did offer to fix it, I couldn't make it back to his shop in time to beat the holidays.
The hood doesn't close like it used to, but I guess I was hoping for a post accident repair miracle there.

That all being said, John is a nice guy, a hard worker, has a great staff, and the shop seems to consistently do great work including custom builds (they are quite busy). I ultimately feel like they went above and beyond where they could, and I would use this shop again but would set expectations a little better, and that is why I still rated it 5 stars despite any issues I may have had initially.

His shop is able to restore your vehicle to a same original factory condition.

John is not only one of the most knowledgeable, dedicated and talented mechanics I've ever worked with, he is also a gentleman and great guy. I've trusted him for four years with two very challenging cars — my '88 Range Rover County and my '86 Lotus Esprit Turbo. Highly recommend!

John at EAS is a brilliant, extremely high IQ European car guru that appreciates his customers, gives them an honest diagnosis and delivers impeccable results. Best part, he does all that with a smile in his face and without all the dealership like drama. We drove there all the way from Camarillo to get our BMW repainted because someone keyed the rear trunk area. All I can say is. Perfection! You cannot tell if it was ever repainted and it was the perfect color match! His quality of work is bar-none, top notch! If you need the best for your car at reasonable prices, make the drive there and pay John a visit. You will have no regrets and you will never ever have to go to the greedy stealerships again!
