Damaris in Westwood, Los Angeles is the best! I've been at EWC for 10 years now and have never had someone so kind, considerate of my hair and body needs, and quick for any and all of the areas I wax! I've even started waxing new areas of my body thanks to her recommendations and I'm very happy! So, so, beyond grateful for her. Surprised she isn't running the place. So bright, brilliant, and thoughtful. You will also feel safe when you book an appointment with her. I've gone to EWC in Los Angeles, Boston, and Miami and have met many wax specialists throughout the decade having starting waxing when I was 15 and now 25 years old this year. Trust me, there's no one as good as her!

I’m 29, I hate pain, I don’t believe in suffering through the process even for good results and never considered waxing for that reason. But I started having ingrown hair and irritation so I decided to give a Brazilian a go. I was terrified coming in and anticipation was killing me. These incredible people made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through the door. I met 3 ladies in the reception area and all of them went above and beyond for every customer checking in and out including me. Extremely friendly, acting professional, knowledgeable and helpful, I was very impressed. But the highlight of my visit was my wax specialist Rebecca. I’m not going to lie, it hurt like hell but it was short and she made it as easy as I imagine it can get. She was trying so hard to distract me talking about celebrity gossip and tv shows, she made me laugh so hard I was crying, she ended up crying too. She said because it happens when she laughs a lot but also because my Brazilian turned out so beautiful, it was hilarious. I loved her, she was the best person for my first experience for sure! I still have a little bit of hair left and since it’s my first time I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be but it doesn’t bother me at all, everything feels super smooth and comfortable. I got some exfoliation solution and ingrown hair serum just in case and she was really helpful in selecting the products as well.
It’s now been a week and I’m still so impressed with the results that I might reconsider my beliefs and go back for another session. What can I say, they did a really great job.

Update: I’ve been going for over a year now and I love the results. I buy passes where you pay for 9 sessions and get 3 free. Damaris is beyond fantastic, I recently moved but still make the drive to Westwood just for her.

Despite my first visit being a nightmare, I’m glad I decided to give European Wax Center a second try.
I am very happy that I landed in Damaris hands. Such an amazing person, and very welcoming! It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. I was very scared, nervous, and embarrassed. Lol
She made my experience better than what I expected it to be.

To add the cherry on top, she was able to clean my eyebrows, and was explaining the process of how we can get my eyebrows back to the shape that they were!
(Btw, this was the nightmare that I previously experienced with another employee that had no sympathy for my eyebrow growing process. Which led me to start the process again).

Customer service here is very disappointing. Parking is trash. Sara had me waiting outside for over 10 minutes in the 90 degree weather only to tell me that I missed my appointment and had to reschedule for another day. I tried calling in advance and she hung up on me. Love my wax therapist, but front desk receptionist sucks.
