This is the first place I’ve ever went for waxing. The staff is always so welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. Recommend this place 10/10

I had the most bizarre experience today at the Camarillo store with a wax lady by the name of Miriah. I am 55 years old and I’ve been getting waxed for over 30 years. I always do my bikini, legs and eyebrows. This lady demanded that remove my underwear to do my bikini, I told her that I never do and that it has never been an issue. I explained that I hold my underwear out of her way when she’s doing my bikini area. She insisted I remove my underwear and I told her I rather not remove it, she insisted again and I again I said no and I told her to only do my legs and eyebrows then but the lady was too angry I guess at me not removing my underwear as she demanded that I did. She then refused to wax me at all. I couldn’t believe this young lady’s attitude and lack of professionalism. In the past when a salon wanted me to remove my underwear they would provide a paper underwear for me to wear and I had no problem doing that but I have never been told to remove it and expose myself completely or no service of any kind would be provided for me like this lady Miriah did today. She refused to do my legs and my eyebrows since i didn’t want to remove my underwear. She was the rudest and most unprofessional wax person I’ve ever had in my thirty years of waxing.

I came here quite frequently. I loved coming and getting my wax but about 8 months ago their wax was way too hot and it burned my face…it took 5 months to heal properly and just until recently to be able to be waxed again. Before this incident I would have given EWC 5 stars, but I can’t after the last experience.
