Everest Cuisine-Mountain View reviews
18Good taste, love the steamed momos here. I always get a togo as I don’t like the ambience that much. They occasionally offer a 10% discount as well.
Love this place, the momos and chutneys are delicious. Love the noodles too. The curry selections and naan are great too but I come here for the Nepalese and noodles.
There is no wow factor here. Just okay foods. But too expensive for the taste. I don't have any complaints for the food but if you ask me I'll never visit again. Just an okay okay taste. But a little too expensive for what we get
OVER HYPED. Portion size is too small for the price. One plate vegetarian curry is for one person only. On a weekend be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins for your food to arrive. Naan is too thick, you won’t be able to eat after you have had 2 pieces (out of 4 pieces of one naan) of their naan because your belly will already be full. Taste of veg curry was OK. TANDOORI MOMOS ARE OVER HYPED I DID NOT LIKED IT AT ALL. There are better places for momos (try Gurkha). OVER COSTLY. And THEY CHARGE 3% surcharge on credit cards
This cozy restaurant next to the Google has the best Indian food I've ever eaten in California.ordered Achari okra-vegan with plain rice and the server suggested ruti a vegan nan that doesn't have milk in it. It was spicy and delicious with a small amount of oil (that I loved it).
Everything was above my expectations. I got 4 star for the atmosphere just because the music was loud.
We have eaten here at least once every week on average for almost a year now. Def our go-to place. The food is non greasy and it feels like home-cooked meal. They are also open longer hours which we really appreciate. The hygiene and hospitality of this place is superb
I liked the egg masala ordered via doordash. The food was quite tasty and it was packaged securely to prevent tampering. The cost is little higher for 2 eggs in a curry that cost $16. I wish they give at least three eggs.
Stopped in last night for a late night dinner and the service was so great! We’ve never had this kind of food before so we asked what we should get and they told us the titanic momo and they did not lie it was SOOO good. Highly recommend this restaurant. The chef brought our food out and delighted in our excitement so much you can just tell this food is made with a great pride and attention to detail. Will come again when we’re in the area.
Authentic Nepali food.
Kothey Veg Momos is really good. Dal Tadka was delicious although the portion size was a little small. Naan was very soft and in big qty. Veg Chowmein was okay, a little blend but over all really good service and food. Will visit again for sure for the Momos and Dal tadka.
Went for dinner on Thursday evening and ordered a bunch of dishes including assorted breads, okra masala, archari chicken, gobi 65, goat biryani & jhol momos. Everything was very good in taste, though the quantities seemed a bit less in curries. Hot & iced teas were nice. They seemed short-staffed but helpful. Ambience was ok, music could be bit lower. Parking was available in lot. Prices reasonable
Veg Momo platter - 5/5 very tasty
Okra masala - 5/5 very tasty
Tandoori butter roti - 4/5 - one of the few places who really do put butter on the roti
Raita - I don't like Raita so didn't even taste but my friend liked it
aloo paratha - 1/5 - not worth ordering
Gajar halwa - 1/5 - less than worth ordering, to be honest it was probably the worst Gajar halwa I have ever had
But overall I loved this place. Very tasty Momos. It had a nice college wali late night canteen feel with old gem Bollywood songs, the vibe was amazing
Restaurant employee are unprofessional, they don’t care the customer! Customers return with out food! Really bad experience
They have large items on their menu & was confused about which all to order. We tried their chicken Momo's, chicken lollipop & chowmein.
The food Portion was good enough & worth the price they charge.
Service was a bit slow.
Amazing food, great service! I have visited it a couple times and it's always packed, need to wait for 10-15 mins but it's totally worth it. Do try the Chef's special momos and chowmein, all of them are really good!
Got a butter chicken delivered. The gravy was good, but they moment I bit into the chicken, I knew the chicken was spoilt. Horrendous. The chicken pieces smelt like they were left out for a day and then dried and cooked. Its that pungent taste of meat you get once its spoilt. The only reason one couldn't figure it out instantly was because of the gravy. Used to love their food. Now I am afraid I might get salmonella or something
A good late night option for Indian/Nepali food in the middle of a tech office park. Momo's are worth trying if you have never had them but I think I will stick to the other options in the future
Absolutely love the tandoori chicken momos here. The veg option is also very delicious.
Quiet literally the best dumplings/momos in the bay area.
All other dishes are of great taste aswell.
I was craving momos, and this place delivered! Besides the great/friendly service, the food is flavorful and generous portions.
I don't think there is a bad option; the dishes brought to neighboring tables looked and smelt very good, so I'm waiting for the perfect excuse to return to try more things on their menu.
My friend asked for Goat Biryani (Goat bone and saffron rice in biryani herbs served with special house raita and cashew nuts), and he is still talking about it!
Their menu is extensive, so it is definitely worth the visit.
