I love Everybody. I'm honored as an ally to share this space, and also hold space for others who may not always feel welcome or empowered in "traditional" socially-conservative gym environments.

A friend recommended this place to me, who had heard about it from their friend.as genderqueer/trans people we all have had great experiences, it's nice to be in a non judgemental space.regular "straight" gyms have a pretty.unwelcoming vibe for queer people.this place has just one locker room/changing room for everybody (no need to decide between two and feel awkward either way!) and also a private changing room if you're shy.there are two showers, each with closed doors.the gym itself is relatively small and can get packed during popular times, especially weekday afternoons/evenings, but not excessively overcrowded.the music level is always good too, loud enough to hear without headphones but quiet enough to be drowned out with your own music! Lol.everyone here is very respectful and they don't make excessive noise like at regular gyms (where cis guys will just straight up be hollering sometimes for like no reason). They have disinfectant bottles you carry around with you to spray down any equipment before/after you use it.overall a great vibe.definitely go here if you're trans.it's worth paying more for than a regular gym, tbh.

The absolute best gym I have ever been to hands down. I feel lucky to have found it. Staff are kind warm and friendly, space is clean neat and upbeat. Ample parking at the park across the street, tons of variety in machines and equipment I love that I can grow in my fitness there and feel welcomed without judgement

Here's the thing: I want to love this gym, but it's disappointing in a lot of departments. I've been a member for 6 months; Everybody is "just okay" for now. With a little effort this could be a fantastic gym.

The most frustrating thing is they don't take or implement feedback. My partner had a bad interaction with staff when trying to give helpful feedback, and other members I've spoken to have indicated that Everybody did not make any changes based on their comments.

PROS: Clean, Mostly friendly staff, Trans and Enby Inclusive. They will never talk about your body here or bother you for any reason. The mission statement of this gym is wonderful. The outdoor area is great to work out in. I appreciate the nice showers and sauna. Gym equipment is adequate for most needs. A few teachers offer quality and engaging classes. The catering place next door smells like delicious pizza all the time. Members are nice and many wear masks.

CONS:
Classes are minimal. Probably an average of 2 classes per day, but NONE on Saturdays or Sundays. 90% of classes are in the evening 5pm or later. No classes before 10am. Teachers are paid per student, which is a disappointing policy. I can see why there are so few classes. I signed up here because of the surfing classes, community outings, and regular gym classes that the staff pitched me on. After 6 months of being a member, they have NEVER had a surfing class or community activity outside the gym. Gym classes are minimal.

Equipment. A lot of the gym equipment is old and was likely purchased used. Every time I'm in the gym 2-5 machines are out of order. They are usually fixed in a timely manner though. Within 1-3 days. They have 20+ spin bikes, but only one Stair Stepper (which is often broken). There is likely only one machine or equipment for that muscle group, often resulting in waiting time.

Their COVID policies are unfortunately about 2 years outdated. I'd like to see them focus on community health and safety.

Staff is overall friendly, but not especially knowledgeable if you ask them for assistance. They have a very high rate of turnover and you see new people at the front desk every week. There are further signs that this business treats its employees poorly. It's a worrisome trend.

The gym itself is ok.
What is horrible is that it's constantly freezing. Both winter and summer time, I'm on the verge of having muscle cramps and it's extremely uncomfortable. Huge fans are constantly making it drafty, even in the outdoor section which is especially ridiculous. Did they not research about health and safety? Every releavant source says it needs to be around 70°F in workout areas.
I still go there because it's sadly the only gym in the area.
The sauna is an afterthought, so don't join if that's what you're after. Only one person allowed at a time, need I say more.
