Evolution Physical Therapy & Fitness - Irvine

Riley has been a humongous asset to recovering from health issues, maintaining health, and then pre-hab and post-hab for/from a transplant. I would not be where I am today without his help. He has helped me regain function in several parts of my body, from starting to stand and walk again. And now gaining strength. He is great at what he does and an awesome person. The facility and people are great too. The atmosphere brings out the athlete in me.

From the start, Evolution Physical Therapy is very professional and addressed all my concerns. They even got Riley my PT to talk to me and answer my questions over the phone before making an appointment. I’m dealing with a difficult knee injury, but Riley puts me at ease with his knowledge and patience. He always listens to me and makes me feels cared for as a patient. I still have a long road to recovery but feels that I’m at good hands with Riley.

I came to Evolution about 2 months ago to treat a recurring lower back injury originally caused by jiu jitsu. Since working consistently with Riley each week, I’ve gone from near-constant back pain and unable to enjoy my favorite activities (jiu jitsu, lifting, even walking my dogs) to being almost completely symptom free. He listens to and addresses my symptoms / concerns, tracks my progress, and has helped me progress with a mindset of focusing on what I can do rather than what I can’t. The in-office treatments and at home exercises have allowed me to get back on the mat pain free. Would definitely recommend Evolution and Riley specifically for anyone who needs PT treatment.

If you’re an athlete and looking for a PT to support you with sports-focused rehab that doesn’t overlook the foundations, look no further. I couldn’t be more thankful for the care I’ve received from Thomas at Evolution in Irvine! Their one-on-one care is thorough, creative, comprehensive, and relational. After a year of feeling stuck with PT for an ACL tear, I’m finally making progress towards my goal of playing soccer again because of their attention to details that have previously been overlooked. I have hope again that I can come back stronger than ever! I feel encouraged to give feedback, challenged to push myself, and encouraged in my PT journey. And, you’re sure to have a good laugh anytime you come in with these guys—what more could you ask for?

Riley and Thomas are the absolute best. The guys put together a comprehensive plan to get me back to playing hockey after back surgery. They customized for wherever my aches and pains were ailing me at the time and, more importantly, explained what were were trying to accomplish with each. Great environment at Evolution also with the gym right on premises. Can't recommend them enough!

Having experienced a variety of Physical Therapy facilities I cannot say enough about both Riley and Thomas at Evolution Therapy. I saw Riley within a week of having knee surgery. He offered the perfect balance of compassion and understanding while encouraging me to meet my goals of PT.

Both Riley and Thomas’s personal hands-on approach is refreshing after going through multiple facilities where the therapist meets with you for minutes and then passes you off to a junior therapist. They both genuinely care about your progress and work with you every step of the way. I cannot say enough about the two of them and strongly recommend them.

Been going for a few weeks to see Thomas at Evolution and it's been great. Thomas knows what he's doing and I'm finally dealing with this shoulder injury and recovering.

Thomas is amazing at what he does. From barely able to walk for 5mins now I am strong enough to take hour long walks and still not feel any pain in my back. I definitely feel stronger and my back doesn't bother me much anymore. I definitely recommend him and evolution physical therapy.

The team here is awesome! They really helped me after I was in a car accident. I would give them more stars if I could!

Riley has turned my quality of life around!

When I met him, I had honestly turned into a Grinch with a very negative outlook given my chronic pain and non-existent range of motion due to injuries. I had seen MANY chiropractors and physical therapists with little to no lasting improvement. He stands out among all given his listening skills, body mechanics understanding, and precise diagnosis/treatment. My progress was gradual and required consistent at-home work (to be expected). There have been challenging days along the way, for which he has taught me helpful lifelong management strategies. But now I feel so so so much better, stronger, and able to engage in daily activities normally. He is also extremely patient and genuinely cares about his patients. I cannot speak highly enough of him!

The facility is clean, spacious, and well equipped. There is plenty of parking, and it is conveniently located close to the 405 by the airport. Appointment availability is great. The staff is friendly and helpful.
