Express - Rent A Cheap Car

I rented a car from Express-Rent-A-Car for several months. Due to the fact I was awaiting a car that I ordered. The pandemic and the chip shortages put the availability of cars at a minimum. Ms. Randa was the first customer service employee that I encountered. She was helpful in creating and renewing my contract monthly. And, I was back on the road again. The rental prices are reasonable for their non new cars that are in very good condition. I would recommend anyone needing a reasonable priced rental car. To check out this place.

My experience with Express Rent A Car was just awesome! Randa was truly amazing and helped me with the entire process from the moment I got the car to returning it. It was a breeze and she was very helpful in making sure I have all the necessary paperwork and everything. I would 100% get a rental car from them if I ever needed one. 100% Recommend!

We originally came to Express - Rent A Cheap Car because I did not have a credit card. They allowed us to rent the car with a debit card and cash deposit, which we got back when we returned the car. The owner of this place is so sweet! She was so kind and even gave us a small discount. After showing us all the car options, we rented the car quickly and easily. The car was so nice; it was clean and worked perfectly. After we returned the car, the owner drove us to the airport for free. If you are looking to rent a nice car quickly and easily, I HIGHLY recommend renting from Express - Rent A Cheap Car. It was honestly the best experience I could’ve ever asked for. Thank you!

I would not recommend this company at all. I did a reservation 2 weeks before my flight. One day before my flight they reply:
"Thanks for your reservation which is not confirmed as we are sold out at this time"
After not agreeing with the hasty way of informing me of the non-availability of cars. I decided to call them.
I told them that they can't play with my trip planning.
Their response were: "I can decide and tell you whatever I want".

DO not book with express rent a car. They are not professional at all!

Great small business with excellent prices much better than anywhere in sd. Quality car and very clean!
Very very friendly staff (kimberly and Randa) picked us up and dropped us off 5 minutes away at port of SD rental car facility. Paul (mgr) super friendly… office is clean and easy to get to, bathroom in office is cute and immaculate. Trust me, you found the right place… but if you plan on abusing their cars- go somewhete else. This is an honest small business.

Rented a 7 passenger minivan from Express. It was literally half the price of all the big national companies.

The van was better than expected. Clean and no mechanical issues. Staff was courteous.

Good to support a local San Diego business rather than a big national conglomerate.

This was our first time renting a car and the women from express made it such an easy process. They answered all my questions and were straight forward with the prices! Express rent a car is an affordable and clean establishment and I look forward to using them in the future!

Hello, at 12: 15 on october 3rd this young woman working at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful.i called an hour prior asking if a car was available for rent and she yes and to come in.we come in and she has us waiting for 45 minutes while she is helping another customer with the car she said was available to me… she sees me waiting for all that time knowing i was there for the car that she was working on and then when she stops working on the car i go and ask her if i rent the car she says she already rented it to that last customer and she could have told me while i was waiting that i wasnt gonna get the car.she completely wasted my time and had a horrible attitude with me.i asked for her name and she just remained silent and ignored me.horrible service and do not recommend anyone uses this business.

We made a reservation for 12 seater van for sunday. We made this reservation last aug 17 and I called this Fri to confirm. If I have not called they will give us 7 seater van. It is very disappointing and we will never rent and wiill discourage our friends, coworkers and family to rent here. They also now claiming they do not have a 12 seater but in the site there was an option. If you need rental cars go to the known companies. DO NOT RENT HERE. And they also have 2 star review in yelp!

I’ve been renting cars from Express repeatedly over the last year plus. The prices are great, the cars are reliable and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful! Great place!
