Extended Stay America - San Diego - Sorrento Mesa

Room was good. I liked that there was a good sized fridge and it was quiet at night. Shower was a 3/5. Good pressure but the head wasn't large enough. If you need a stay at a place for two or three days this is definitely the place to go. Staff was friendly which is a great plus. L

My stay was excellent because of the staff. They are always so welcoming and just friendly. I would like to mention Maricar and Melanie, who are always a pleasure to see. They make me feel like I’m right at home

Awful experience. Here the reasons:
1- towels was thin and stained
2- shower was dripping and hot water was not always available…
3- limited amenities and usb plugs in rooms.
4- “included” breakfast…
5- no coffee available constantly.
6- no duvet available…
7- shampoo and body wash not included.
8- no view outside. The only window was open to the corridor = no privacy.

Good point:
Front desk reps were great and friendly.

I have been in other ESA…the experience is different. They looked as hotel, no this one.

Pretty disappointing considering where is located.

Excellent Customer service and I highly recommend this hotel to friends and associates. Likewise, shout out to the House Keeping Services. Violets, Maricar and Haylle.

Great place to stay! Staff are very accommodating & friendly! Especially Maricar she always make sure our room is tidy and clean.

The customer service is great here. The front office staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
The rooms need to be remodeled and upgrades to the kitchen need to be made.

Arrive at 1am after a long flight. Had to call number when I arrived to discover room wqa not ready and staff would not be available until 7am, and check in would not be ready till 3pm. I have never encountered a hotel that does not have a front desk ready to assist

Above average rooms (almost like a Yosemite Valley Lodge), and the environment is okay. Lobby isn’t as grandeur as other four star hotels but gets the job done either way. Would prefer a wider selection of higher quality amenities, but for a one night stay it’s a-okay.

Location is Great
Room size is exceptabl.
Price is considered high.
No swimming pool
Washing facility
In room fridge, stove, microwave and you can request dishes, toaster, coffee machine.
Grab and go breakfast is available.
The dark brown carpet is super filthy.
They could make more effort to clean it.
Water saving shower heads harass your customers more than anything else.
The Staff are super nice.

The staff is very helpful, friendly, professional. Melanie, Violeta, Maricar, and Hailey are the best. They go far beyond their duties they work very hard and do extra work with smiling face. Since my bag was dropped on the uber driver's car, they patiently helped me translate and retrieve my bag. Because I am from Taiwan, my English is not very good, so I am very grateful to them️

The staff is awesome! The rooms are nice and the location is pretty. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this gem to my friends and family:)

It is a good place for a long stay. Most of their staff is really nice, but they NEED MORE STAFF desperately. At least two people in reception because every time I go to reception, the receptionist is busy outside delivering or fixing something for another guest. They are very hardworking, but it’s not enough of them. You always have to wait a long time to be helped.
Shout out to Melanie who is always sweet and helpful. Studios are comfortable and clean. There is plenty of parking. They solve problems fast. It is just their staff problem!
