Extra Space Storage, Thousand Oaks CA

I love Extra Space! So patient and always able to answer questions. Salina who I've dealt with a couple of times is amazing. The units are VERY clean. I feel my items are safe and will remain clean.

I just started renting a 10x10 unit at the Duesenberg location in Thousand Oaks. The unit and building is clean, seems to be well maintained and safe. The office staff, Selena, has been more than pleasant to deal with, genial and responsive to all my questions.

I've had some of my stuff with Extra Space for a little while now when I travel and they are so awesome! The manager named Sue was very helpful and kind!

Salina and Sue are terrific! So helpful and considerate.
They have been wonderful to work with! Highly recommend them and Extra Space.

My family RENTS a unit here. The manager SALINA is super RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Save your money and your time and go anywhere else!

RUN AWAY. My family rents here and up until now hadn't had an issue-until the roof failed.

You would think if the roof LEAKED into your storage unit and RUINED your property, the storage facility would be kind and honorable.

Not here at Extra Space Storage: Full rent owed; refusal to cover any sort of remediation, and would not let us move to a different unit.

Does Extra Space Storage not have insurance?
Are Extra Space Storage employees lazy?
What is going on at Extra Space Storage to have this much cruelty and ineptitude?

ETA: Yes, of course we have insurance. We also have a slumlord of a storage facility. Your inept response only underscores my review.

Sue was so nice and helpful! It was clean and the carts to help us take things from the storage to the car where easily accessible:)

The entire process of application, rental agreement and payment was done efficiently via text and emails. Extremely easy and thorough, I was impressed.

THE ROOF COLLAPSED IN MY UNIT AND CAUSED OVER $10,000 IN DAMAGE AND THE HORRIBLE MANAGER REFUSED TO DISCOUNT OR WAIVE RENT FOR THE MONTH OR OFFER A NEW UNIT! THEY MAOE YOU PAY FULL PRICE FOR A DEFECTIVE, LEAKING UNIT!
THIS PLACE WILL DESTROY YOUR ITEMS, NOT OFFER ANY HELP, AND THE MANAGER IS HORRIBLE! GO ELSEWHERE!

We wanted to upgrade to a larger unit and Sue was able to process the upgrade over the phone and we signed the documents remotely. The entire process took leaa than 10 minutes. Great job Sue!

I came to do some work out at Extra Space Storage Sue is a great lady to work for he was very helpful and very kind kind of people we need for customer service she is awesome

I lost the keys to my unit. Sue was extremely friendly and helpful in quickly removing my old lock and setting up the new combination lock for me. Thank you!
