Overall, not satisfied with my service. Originally, led to believe that my storage space was $45, so I went to look closer and rather than find my information, I received a "follow-up phone call" and felt that I got pressured into getting a space. After all the smoke cleared, I was $103.70 into a 5'x5' unit that I needed for only 2 weeks. Buyer beware!

Amber is Amazaballs! She knows what she is talking about and made the renting process a breeeze!

I moved out of the area earlier this year and when I finally got around to moving out of this storage location, they were extremely helpful. I had already paid the full month and they refunded my full payment and then prorated the charge so I didn’t have to pay any extra days. Very happy with the service.

I would not use this company again because they are more interested in gaining profit rather than respecting their tenants. I moved into my unit with the promise that my rental unit would only increase small percentages on an annual basis. Then unexpectedly (after a year of my business) they sent me a notice stating that instead of the $7 annual increase they were going to raise my rent the following month an additional $45! This was a HUGE increase for a unit I started off at with a $71 monthly fee. The reason cited was "to keep up with market value". In essence they were telling me that they are charging me more because they can get away with it and never mind that I was a loyal customer who always paid my rent on-time and never made a mess. I can't afford such a huge increase on such short notice, so I had to quickly find new accommodations and move out. Not a fun thing to deal with on a short 3 week notice of my rental increase.

I had a unit in Rocklin for about 3
years. OK so he was always clean and secure. Amber who works in the office is always great. She is very helpful and willWhere is needed to make you have the best experience possible. I would recommend this facility to anybody who’s looking for a storage and wants to keep there’s no secure and clean.

The manager was great and very accommodating. He went the extra effort to make sure we could get in to our storage shed the first night. He made our time that we needed the storage shed a pleasure. Easy check out when we left. Highly recommend!

Steve was a great help and very nice! A great place to rent a storage unit! I highly recommend using this company!

Spoke to the Manager, Steve Smith, and he was excellent. Service, knowledge, and guidance. We did my entire transaction on the phone and computer and it was so easy I was done in no time.

I had called numerous other facilities around the area to find that nobody in storage business really answers their phones right away. I get calls back usually about 2-3 hours later. I called extra space and they answered right away, were extremely helpful and customer service was unsurpassed for a storage facility. Had me impressed.while it may have costed me a little bit more than some of the other facilities in or around the area, it's totally worth it.

My experience with Extra Space Storage in Rocklin, and specifically the service I recieved from Steve, the on-site manager, has been wonderful. This will be my third storage this year and I can already tell I won't need to find another anytime soon. (I only say this to highlight the fact I have rented from other facilities before and I am able to compare my experiences.) This time, I had a few things that I was looking for in a storage facility that I was not happy with in my previous units. The price and location is what initially got my attention. After reserving a storage online, I promptly recieved a call back from Steve. During the phone conversation with Steve, I was given the opportunity to ask questions based on my concerns, and I decided I needed to confirm my decision by checking out the facility myself. When I arrived I was happy to see that it was just as Steve had told me on the phone. The facility is the cleanest I have ever seen. There is no transient activity or suspicious persons anywhere around. Steve was very personable and very professional. I really appreciated how well he listened to my questions and concerns on the phone and I know he was listening because he chose a unit that would be perfect for me and my situation. He took into consideration all my concerns and MORE. I must make this more clear to give others a better idea of how ecstatic I am with my new storage. Moving, and packing and loading and unloading is never a fun process and its stressful. Without even asking, he knew what was going to make the unloading loading process for me the easiest. He couldnt of chose a more convienent unit that would allow me to unload with ease, and feel safe. I also would like to mention how quick and easy the rental paperwork process was and another thing that stood out to me was his consideration of my time. As someone who works in customer service, There is great customer service and there is EXCEPTIONAL, which is what I recieved from Steve. I honestly feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, knowing I can store my items with confidence in a safe, clean, secure area at a very reasonable price!

I needed to store some boxes that contain photos and books. All are invaluable to me because they mean so much to me. I rented a storage unit online from Extra Space Storage and I am rating them five stars for excellent customer service, cleanliness and affordable storage units.
