Eyes of Westwood Optometry reviews
9I highly recommend Eyes/Dr. Doyle. This is the first time I didn’t feel rushed in an eye exam and seeing the image of my retina was a plus. The receptionist went over and above calling my insurance co for coverage info which was wrong, my insurance co mistakenly listed them. They were so nice and helpful that my BF declared early Xmas present!
Dr. Doyle established good rapport with me throughout the appointment, and was very precise with the exam, including educating me on the photo of my retina. Highly recommend
I literally called to make an appointment for an eye exam and the lady who picked up was extremely rude. It was actually insane how rude she was. I literally hung up on her. Definitely a good representation of how horrible this office is going to be so stay away.
I was only visiting the area when my eyeglasses broke and they were able to help me right away!
(1 star only because I can't leave it blank). This place is absolutely AWFUL! I originally came here out of convenience as it is very close to work and could make my appointments during my lunch break. My first exam with Dr. Doyle went well, so I thought, but when I received my glasses I realized the prescription was wrong as I felt it was too strong for me. I was told to give it about a month to adjust to, so I did. NOPE! My eyes never adjusted to it. When I went back, Dr. Doyle seemed upset and ran another exam, only to yield the same results. When I picked up my "adjusted" glasses, I realized they added the blue tint, which I was told would be included in the price, but they made me pay an additional $60. I would have been ok with this charge if the prescription would have been fine and the glasses would have been wearable, but they weren't. I was once again told I need to let myself adjust to the new prescription, which again, didn't happen. I went back yet again, and though upset, Dr. Doyle ran another exam. At this point, I was told I needed to pay for the exam AGAIN, which I refused because I wasn't getting a new exam just for the sake of a new exam, I was trying to get a pair of glasses that I could actually wear, which never happened. It's now been over a year and I called my old optometrist to make an appointment, only to find out Dr. Doyle and his office filed a claim in February of this year, for an exam that led nowhere! I called his office to figure out what's happening, only to get yelled at by Dr. Doyle as he rudely refused to listen to me. Though convenient due to the location, I will NEVER set foot in this location again. Save yourself some money, your insurance claim, and your patience and go elsewhere!
Had a emergency where I only had a contact for one eye and needed new ones as I was leaving for San Diego the same day. They took me in 30 minutes after calling and took my eye exam and got me new contacts in less than a hour. Real life savers they are
Dr. Doyle is the best! Both times I had my exam done, he was very thorough and heard my concerns. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Love going to him!
Dr. Doyle spent a good deal of time with me during my exam. He was very concerned that I get the correct prescription for my contact lenses as my correction is somewhat tricky. Then he made sure that I got the full value of my insurance for contacts and glasses! Great service and customer support.
Friendly staff. I was on vacation and needed some help right away, they were understanding and truly helpful in the end.
