Fabulously Feathered Silkies, Lathrop CA

Could not have been nicer or more helpful. Explain the various chicken types and feather types very clearly. Would recommend them highly!

We picked up 3 chicks in late spring. Dawn told us repeatedly that if we ended up with any roosters to contact her so she could help us re-home them, as she "had a long list of people who wanted Silkie roosters. " Well, 4 months later and all 3 chicks end up being roosters! We contacted Dawn several times through phone and e-mail. Absolutely zero response since.buyer beware - unfortunately Dawn will say anything to make a sale

I was amazed how knowledgeable Dawn was, and she was so helpful in helping choose my Beautiful Silkies for my situation. I had done my research and wanted healthy chickens from a local breeder. I was so lucky to find her. I’m on the waiting list already for a Frizzle!

Fabulously feathered Silkie’s has some very beautiful birds. Such a kind person who truly loves her birds

The owner is such a nice lady! My parents went on Easter Sunday and I called a couple days before to check if Fabulously Feathered Silkies would be open and even though she missed my called she not only called, but also texted right back ASAP! My parents weren't sure exactly how many chicks they would get but ended up getting 12 for their backyard in South Bay Area. If they were ever interested in getting more I am positive they would go back for another visit (:

Dawn is wonderful! I just love her. She has beautiful silkies and some other beautiful breeds. I got my first Silkies from her 5 years ago and would highly recommend her very knowledgeable and her birds just love her. It's fun to watch them follow her around.c

I bought a silky rooster from Dawn. And just fell in love with all the chickens.
Had to go back and picked up 4 more chicks recently. Dawn is an amazing women she is soo knowledgeable and her chickens are well taken care of.
Would definitely come back for more.

A big fraud! Bought a chick for eggs and it turned out to be a rooster. Besides, it doesn't look like "her mom" at all (There was only one type of chick available when we visited, although the place was full of all kinds of grown-ups that were NOT for sell. The owner promised that the one we bought will grown into exactly the same looking as the beautiful hen she showed us and lay eggs for us". But after all the best food and environment we provided for months, it turn out to be a rooster crowing all the time. Tried contacting, no response at all.

Dawn was amazing. Answered all my questions and concerns. She has the most beautiful, friendly chickens. Can’t wait to pick up more.
