I've been with Facey Medical group for 6 years and I'm grateful for them. I have several specialists, who have been great as far as listening to me, responding to my needs and ensuring I'm taken care of. I will say for the lab and prescriptions I've had some challenges in wait times and follow through, but nothing worse than anywhere else I've been. I have recommended this group to my own family and friends. I appreciate them!

Title: Irresponsible inefficient doctor with no morals.
As a patient who suffered for a few years, I feel responsible to let the other patients know about Dr. Touraj Zolfaghari, GI doctor. Being a patient who went for partial gastrectomy due to cancer and several other surgeries, I need to be cared for regularly, diagnose issues, and provide proper medications. Here are the issues I faced with this GI doctor.
1. He kept on canceling my scheduled appointments saying that he had surgeries to perform. As a result, he did not see me for more than one and a half years. He reschedules my appointment after three months every time he cancels my appointments.
2. I have been having frequent stomach pain and diarrhea in the past year and severe fatigue for the past six weeks. He kept on suggesting to go for gallbladder removal, while the general surgeon suggested not needed in our two consultations. The actual problem was that a patient like me needed pancreatic enzymes treatment. Instead, he kept on pushing me for the surgery. I found out that I needed these enzymes when I went to another GI in another group. Now I am being treated with the enzymes and feeling better.
3. I was worried about not seeing a GI for more than one and a half years. So, I took an earlier appointment with another GI doctor in the same group. He got mad that I had taken an appointment with another doctor and canceled my early appointment with another doctor. They did not even have the courtesy to call me to tell me that they had canceled my earlier appointment. He not only canceled my appointments with him and with the other doctor, but his nurse Maria also told me that “you cannot change the doctors. You need to stick with one. This is what happens when you switch doctors. ”

I switched to Facey when I was in my early 60's and after 4 spine surgeries.
I was taking 300 mg Tramadol 4 times a day and Dr Shariff said I was taking too much pain medicine and gave me a script for an ointment to rub on my back. I asked her to sign a form for a disabled placard and she said "That's up to the DMV to decide" and she it changed it to temporary. I changed my doctor and the same day I received a message from Dr. Sharieff that she had my medical records and she would discuss it with me at the next appointment. Thank God I found a doctor that treats patients according to the records. P. S. My new doctor signed the form for a permanent disabled placard and the lady at the DMV said "you had your 4 temporaries". I said it was checked for permanent. Dr Sheriff at Facey lied to me 4 times and now I see how she made it through med school!

Facey has the to be the worst medical group by far. My entire obgyn/ prenatal care experience has been completely horrible. My insurance unfortunately changed towards the end of my pregnancy and they are refusing care at 39 weeks pregnant. Not only did i have a high risk pregnancy I was told to walk into olive view once I’m in labor there was nothing they could do. My insurance sent documents to approve continued care and Facey all around denied everything. They have left me completely high and dry a week before my due date denying me of all care. I will be taking this matter to someone higher up.

Dr. Grace Austin is an excellent surgeon. I was very impressed with her compassion and professionalism. She explained everything in detail, telling me step by step what she was going to do, making sure I understood exactly what the process would be. I could not have been in better hands. She removed basal cell cancer from my face, 2 inch laceration that looks amazing.

Dr. Alyssa Zackler and her staff were all amazing. They squeezed me in same day for a small procedure. Dr. Zackler was very gentle and explained everything step by step. I left feeling much better and very much cared about. I highly recommend her and the office.

A few years ago I had breast cancer. A week ago I was having pain in that breast. I was scheduled by my doctor to go in for an ultrasound and breast image at the Radiology Department in the Facey building located by Henry Mayo Hospital. Meanwhile, I’m very nervous and stressed out. I go have the tests. Today I call in and a girl named Cindy answered the phone. I said very politely that I was calling to get my results. She took my name and said, “ you are not the only patient, do not call here leaving several messages for the doctor. ” I was appalled! Here I am a nervous wreck and she spoke like that! I think Cindy needs to find a job where she doesn’t face clients or answer calls. It puts a bad name on Facey with employees with that kind of attitude.

Do t get me wrong, I love all of my doctors, the surgeon and their staff. The ultrasound tech, Glenda was amazing as was the imaging tech. Maybe a little front desk training needs to be done with staff.

I had a small accident on oct 3rd. Outside the country, once back in the states I went to the urgent care they referred me as an urgent from Mission Hills to see an ortho, right away the next day I saw Dr. Roth (very nice) he request the referral with the neurologist since October 12th requested, finally October 23rd was approved and calling the neurologist office in Mission Hills they told me the sooner they can see me it’s dec. 4th unless it’s mark as an urgent I went ahead and call back Dr. Roth office to speak with the person who called me that was approved (Candy) and she just went off yelling and very uncomfortable way that I had to stop her to talk to me that way, that wasn’t the way to speak to patients who are getting the injury worsened I guess she realize and felt compassion (I think) when I started crying while telling her my arm is not functioning and that I didn’t want to loose it, since the only diagnose given was that my nerve was numb and not working at all. I call back Mission Hills to schedule an app and now they’re telling me there is nothing until next year! When earlier 15 min ago when I called they told me they only have until December! I really don’t understand why they do this to patients.
As of right now I have been 34 min on the phone to try to schedule the app without any “urgent referral” just a normal app. ️ Finally Christina was able to have patience with me and helped the best she could.
Please train your personal to be compassionate with other you don’t know what’s in the other end! Be kind, be nice and help each other. And if you don’t like what you do? Look for another job!

I've been treated very well in Dr. Stepanian's office. Dr. Stapanian performed successful robotic prostatectomy surgery. Everyone there are very professional and helpful.

Worse worse worse experience ever with Dr Saif Usman (orthopedic doctor), just because I decided not to do a supposedly on phone X-Ray (according to them x ray could have done on phone
so I said from now on I won’t see Dr Usman anymore also they sent me a $333 office visit bill as they illegally sent insurance 3 separate bills and made me pay 2 copays for same day office visit which I reluctantly paid, Facey should be ashamed of such dishonest practices.physician only saw me once but in insurance they are charging for physicians service twice and that’s why insurance rejected it, insurance completely paid for X ray and one physician service but as they charged insurance twice so insurance rejected second claim when in truth I was only seen once and only 2 x rays were taken and dr usman hary spent 5 minutes with me total and he came 30 minutes late.

My doctor Dr.yuan is great and so are some other doctors at the facility. The older staff at the reception is good. I wish I could have her as my primary. This place is great. Minimal wait time, good physicians, care with concern and excellent bedside manner. The doctors nurse is also wonderful!

Booked an appointment almost a month ahead online clearly stating what I needed and that I was a new patient. The day of, The receptionist didn’t even know I was new and while repeatedly having me sit down and stand up, finally tell me that I CANT Be seen that day. She was nice enough but maybe be more organized.

Called for ob/gyn. They only have 2 female doctors one of whom is part time. So appointments are a month out. The receptionists are friendly. Just not convenient for me to wait a month at a time to see someone.

Dr gene Tran and Dr Abdul Hosn will not help you at all. I will never use this medical team again because after a year of treatments and referrals I went to a chiropractor and fixed the numbness in my feet. Apparently they didn’t know the L5 ikon your spine controls the nerves to your feet and they exposed me to 3 MRIs useless X-ray of my neck upper back and mid back, physical therapy. And after they heard a chiropractor fixed my low back Abdul Hosn asked did I refer you? As if anything he ever did benefited me they just wanted money from insurance and totally screwed my life up for a year offering only gabapentin. They never mentioned yoga, acupuncture, chiropractic no they just want to put you on drugs and do useless tests. The chiropractor at pure wellness in Valencia noticed right away and fixed me in 5 minutes. They like to talk to each other too about you and write negative notes on your medical records when you’re going through depression and chronic pain. They just gave me gabapentin and made me deal with it on my own. I will never recommend these drs to anyone and I pity you if you get the run around like me.

Dr. Austin did a great job with my procedure. She explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. She outlined what she was going to do and the possible outcomes. She is very skilled in her profession. My post procedural results are fantastic, you can’t even tell she perform surgery on me. She is fantastic, thank you Dr. Austin.
