Factor's Famous Deli reviews
14Waited 35 minutes gor omlette and over priced salad.waitres didn't even come by to see if needed anything and if everything was OK.someone else did and offered us a free dessert.the bus boy was great!
I have a friend that loves this place and keeps taking me there, but it never works out for me. It’s not that the food isn’t good. It’s just that it doesn’t work for me and it’s not well-made for a vegetarian. I’ve hesitated to leave a negative review, but my avocado and toast was really bad today. I should’ve sent it back. The toast was burned, and there was hardly any avocado on the bread. I wonder if people who have restaurants that are primarily not vegetarian ever try their vegetarian entrées.
Food is decent. Matzo ball soup needs more flavor; at least some salt or something. Women at the cash register were rude, didn’t acknowledge me, continued to talk to each other, acted like I interrupted them by handing them my bill and had zero personality. Best part of going there was the guys who package the take out orders. Nice and friendly guys. Should have them working the front of the restaurant as well.
How do you screw up a roast beef sandwich? Thow a bunch of meat on bread and say here you go! Had to ask for toppings and cheese. No communication! Actually asked for a sub, but didn't watch to confuse them any further! Pathetic service for a place in Beverly Hills!
Delicious old world style jewish deli. All of your favorites are on the menu and easy on the pocket book. Great portions to boot.
I've waited a couple weeks to write this in the hopes that I would feel better and could give a better review. It didn't happen. Let me start by saying that up until 10 years ago when I moved to the South Bay from the neighborhood this was my go-to Deli. I was there at least once a week. Even pre-covid when I didn't live in the area I'd still managed to place an order at least once every couple months when I was in the area. The quality of the food and their Sky High sandwiches is what kept me coming back. Two weeks ago on Monday I was in the neighborhood for an appointment and decided to stop and get a pastrami on rye. I called the restaurant to order and asked if the reuben and the Sky High sandwiches were the same size in terms of amount of meat. I was told they were so I ordered the Reuben minus the sauerkraut. When I arrived to pick up the sandwich the cashier showed me the size of it which was a third of what it used to be. It was $26.50 for something that should have been about $16.when I saw the sandwich I told the woman that I didn't want to purchase it that it was a complete waste of money and not worth what they were charging. She said to me that it was already made and I had to take it. I felt completely ripped off. I understand that Deli is more expensive than other places but Brents Deli in the Valley is still giving sandwiches that are actually Sky High sandwiches and their prices are lower. While the pastrami quality was decent the size of the sandwich for what they were charging was completely out of proportion and I wish I had refused the order and walked out. Also their little 2 bite side of macaroni salad was not the macaroni they used to make and it was awful. They have some nerve calling that a side. They've lost a customer that has been going there for over 30 years. They need to reduce their prices and increase their portions. There is no excuse for this huge disappointment. I would encourage people to find other solutions. Too bad Jerry's and Juniors are closed but it's a matter of time before another Deli opens up and hopefully provides real competition.
Really good food. Can't make notes on delivery orders for the kitchen. That's the negative. Must call for any adjustments. I'll still order anytime!
Been going there for over 60 years. The same quality and availability of lots of Jewish Deli foods. One of the best locations in West L. A. Yummm.
THE CHOP SALAD #1
THE PASTRAMI SANDWHICH #1
THEY BEST OATMEAL AND RAISIN COOKIE YOU WILL EVER EAT #1
Love this deli. First time dining at Factor’s this morning and we all had a great brunch. Service was prompt, polite, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. They have valet parking out front, but we were able to find street parking close by for our 11AM Saturday brunch. I especially love all the booths inside and how quick they were with refills and bringing the food out.
Our server was very polite and did a great job. They have a huge menu to order from and breakfast, lunch, or dinner was available. I chose the Beet Borscht to start which was great and followed up with the Eggs Benedict. It was cooked well and the portion was fair. I look forward to coming back in the future to try more items.
Overall a great deli and I would recommend to anyone deli fan or not.
Just like to say da food was good.high prices. The service socks here.help not happy they just deal with it move on
If you're going to charge 30$ for 3 cookies, a slice of cake, a brownie and a Bagel - you really should be putting the prices in the window.
Corned beef hash looked like it came right out of the tin - was pretty disappointing. And what kind of Jewish deli doesn't have potato pancakes on the breakfast menu?
5 stars for the yummy deli food.
Classic sandwiches on rye and much more.
Minus 1 for the prices, quite high.
Photo of vegan corned beef on rye with yellow mustard. Came with coleslaw and lots of pickles on the side.
