Interesting and different type of nursery. Gone here about 6 times. Either they never have what I need or it’s too expensive.

Amazing nursery with some rather unique plants and trees. Some I haven't seen anywhere around town. I was just passing by but ended up spending a quite a bit of time aquiring some plants I've been looking for. There's still some corners I missed so I'll be back. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The owner was as nice as can be.

I have past by this place a couple times and finally stopped in to look around. I was very glad I did. They place was relaxing to walk around. I loved the feel of this nursery. Before making my purchase I asked a question about transplanting a nectarine that is in a fifteen gallon pot, and the roots have escaped the pot and went into the ground. I was given great advice and look forward to visiting again

Overall I found Fair Oaks to be a great little nursery with ample parking, good location, and friendly staffing.

Unfortunately the management sucks! And the plant despite of looking good there, don't survive!

Plus the prices are more expensive!

Recently moved to the area from another part of Sacramento. Thought we’d buy some new plants from the local nursery. Upon getting them home, 2 cheaper plants didn’t fit the theme of our yard. My forgetful older husband couldn’t find the receipt. No worries I thought. Wrong. Wouldn’t even exchange for a more expensive plant. Even the employee who helped us remembered me. Bought the expensive plant and donated the 2 plants to the nursery. Beware, keep your receipt. There’s no exceptions. Live and learn.

I'm pretty bummed with my recent experience with the nursery. I purchased some yarrow from them on Friday and it died by Sunday due to the heat. They had told me it could take full sun but I guess it couldn't. I was even watering daily. I showed to them and they said there was nothing thwy could do (no exchange or refund.) I guess I will stick to purchasing from Green Acres with better plant policies, which is unfortunate becuase I truly do prefer supporting local. A fellow shopper even said that the plant policy was not good in comparison to other nurseries.

I think if the woman was nicer or more sympathetic, I wouldn't even be writi g rhe review. Hopefully they reconsider their stance, but we will move forward with other companies in the future.

We bought a 'green alien' metal outdoor figure less than 4 months ago. The paint is peeling and flaking off everyday. I thought perhaps the owner would exchange it for a new one, or some sort of compensation. She was unwilling to provide satisfactory customer service. Her comment that it "only" cost $49, was inappropriate. I am disappointed and won't return or promote doing business there.

Loved this nursery! Had a great time looking through my options of citrus trees, flowering plants and grasses. Gonna have to come back for veggies! I also thought the indoor space was fun to look through for kids and adults!

The space is well organized, clean and well staffed. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind!

Pricing was comparative and reasonable. Also saw plants I didn't see at other chain nurseries.

Great plant selection and extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful people! They helped me get set up with a huckleberry bush, the correct soil, and a soil addative to keep the acidity at the best range for the plant. A new go-to nursery for me!
