Fair Oaks Bridge reviews
17Cool bridge overlooking the American River. Park is very nice in that area, with bike riding, fishing, and running.
This place is great. Until you stumble across a cache of discarded trash (Bottles/cans/clothes). Recently discovered a whole section of rug that someone dragged out to the beach.
I am constantly removing garbage from this spot. Just wish there was more enforcement of "LEAVE NO TRACE".
Me and my dog love this place. Paddle boarding and chilling on the beach.
Convenient pedestrian/ bike bridge connecting old Folsom to the American River Bike Trail. Nice view of the river and the bluffs.
This is such a beautiful location. It's fun to access the river through this spot and it also offers some great hiking material.
There are a lot of stoners that come by so there will be the smell of weed on occasion, otherwise it's a great spot to just have a good weekend with.
Uhh I don't know what to say really, I just ride past here in my bike. Looks cool, people seem to think it's nice, no one has died in it so I guess that's a good thing lol.
Fun hiking spot! Only drawback was a lot of people smoking pot, the smell got pretty annoying. I'd recommend not bringing little kids.
We love it here that you can walk or ride bycicles because they have separate road for bike, no cars
You can easily park for free in historic fair oaks near the brew pub, and walk it from there. It's a sketch walk since there aren't any sidewalks, but drivers are nice and will move over when necessary. The views of the bridge and river are fantastic.
Awasome place to start your rafting trip. Great beaches to swim and mess around in the water
Nice fairly quiet spot to enjoy swimming or just relaxing on the beach by the river. The added bonus was a very short walk from parking which only cost $5 for the day.
You will not regret your visit here. It's such a beautiful view and you can start your recreation here by rafting, biking, or just simply walking and hiking onto the bridge. It is so great! You can also take your boat here to get into the river.
It's always a nice experience visiting the Old Fair Oaks Bridge. There's always something interesting to look at like the waterfowl or fisherman, water levels and scenic beauty of the area with the Bluffs overlooking the bridge on the Fair Oaks side.
Great view of the river. It also leads to the small hill from where you can see the gorgeous view of the valley, blue water and the bridge.
See and enjoy the river. Keep an eye out for your surroundings. Had to point out a rattlesnake crossing the path to some families headed that direcrion.
Spring is magical along the American River Parkway! The wildlife, flowers and birds add tactile "bling" to the flowing waters.
Pretty place to come for a walk, or even swim in the summertime! I enjoy the walks here and the atmosphere! The bridge is clean and it is family friendly! Has pretty easy access to the bridge and I do recommend this place to anyone who wants to come here!
It’s my first time on the Fair Oaks Bridge. Before, I’ve seen the bridge from a scenic view when I was riding public transportation and riding in a vehicle.
