Fairfield Inn Roseville reviews
17 Pros: clean rooms, up to date, good complimentary breakfast, friendly staff.
Cons: unsecured internet (unless you pay extra), super thin toilet paper, pay $12 extra for parking per day.
I was pleasantly surprised. This was a very clean Inn, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good. A few mins away from Roseville Mall and across the street from a water park. Would definitely stay her again.
Incredibly rude "Christian" girls basketball team tried to take up both checkin lines while I stand there in a neck brace and an ICU visitors badge. The staff was just as rude and let this happen and had no idea how to find my reservation. Yikes
When did Marriott start nickle and diming every single piece of a stay? You want this? There's a charge. That, add another charge. They even charged for my service animal.very disappointing.
The rooms are nice and spacious. The beds sink a lot but I sleep on a memory foam bed so that might just be me. The bathroom has a lot of counter space and the shower has a massager. The AC works very well! The curtains don't close so the only thing blocking the sun is a sheer curtain. All in all I would stay here again. One of the better hotels I've been to.
We stayed here for several weeks while our baby was at the nearby hospital. We could not have been more pleased. The rooms are clean and the staff is very kind and accommodating. Im a picky eater, but the free breakfast in the morning was incredible- warm oatmeal with all kinds of toppings, eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, toast, juices, etc. I’d stay here again and would highly recommend it.
Everything is broken, dirty or in disrepair. The handle to my room left the deadbolt on regardless of how I opened or closed it so I couldn't close the door, the lobby stunk like formaldehyde, the bathroom sink and air conditioning control or mounted waist height no higher than 3 ft from the ground, the TV is older than I am, the street noise is untenable and the air conditioner is broken and makes noise like a diesel bus.
$12 parking fee? For what? You're a side of the road hotel with small rooms and a dated motif (haven't seen a Fairfield with this color scheme and decor in years). A 22" LCD tv? What am I supposed to do with that unless I'm sitting 2ft from the screen? And on top of all that, there is no onsite fitness center. The Courtyard they share the parking lot with allows you to use theirs. I've seen even the most budget motel attempt to offer an area for fitness. I get you're near a water park and a short drive to shops and restaurants, but nothing so unique as to warrant an unadvertised parking fee.
First off, let me preface this review by saying the staff that I encountered were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The room was clean and well stocked. What I love the most is the hot showers in the morning. Usually, less accommodating hotels skimp on items like the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I can't remember the brand of toiletries but it was amazing, smelled amazing, and made me happy in the morning. Big thumbs up! Breakfast was served as described. My only wish is that they offered more vegan options. I had to use the "business center" which was a computer by the front desk. Luckily every time I had to use it, there was no one there. And big plus, they let me print for free. Some places charge which is super irritating. The reason for the three stars is that I had to extend my stay which carried over through the weekend. The rate that was charged to my card was agreed to and it was a 30% increase to the normal weed day rate. Then early Sunday morning I get a call from the front desk which stated that my card was declined. I explained the situation and they said "well that charge was incorrect and you slept there so now you have to pay. " I run to the bank and take care of the balance. What else was I supposed to do? When it was all said and done the weekend rate was 40% more than what was originally charged. This may not be a big deal to some but we were staying there a few days as we had just gotten evicted. I know its a bit too pricey, but I wanted to maintain some normalcy for the children and the location was in between our old home and the new storage facility. Anyways, blah blah blah, sob story, I know.just wanted to throw that tidbit of info in there as to why this 40% increase was a HUGE deal. The stay was lovely, the overnight staff were great! They gave me coupons for restaurants nearby. I can't remember the lovely lady at the front desk. She was blonde and we swapped stories about our husbands, gas prices, and the heat. She was great and the other tall young man who wants to be a firefighter, he was super nice too! So long story short.make sure to confirm the rates before they charge your card because they will charge you more without even discussing it with you first. I think its wrong for the customer to be penalized for their accounting error especially for recently displaced families on a budget.
I love staying here. Its a beautiful area. The hotel is #1 in my book. I will stay here again and recommend this place to family and friends.
I would totally stay here again if they had balconies.other than that the staff are great! The biggest thing that made me not to thrilled was some of the covid nonsense they had posted. I don't want to go stay at a hotel that thinks grown up can't make their own choices.
This place and staff are absolutely awesome. My wife had to go to the hospital for a stroke. The hospital got a hold of Fairfield Inn and they gave me a hospital rate. Which took a lot of stress off me. And they served a great breakfast. Thank you very much Fairfield Inn in Roseville.
Clean, comfortable and consistent with the brand however the bagged breakfast offered during COVID was a cold bagel, nutrigrain bar, water and an apple EVERY SINGLE MORNING!
I will not return on 3/10 [ called in to receive 2 more pillows going to 308 they said they would deliver and never did I will not return for future stays did I mention the dead bugs and mold in the showere room 308!
Its a quiet place stay at. I mostly stay for 1 night or so. With all thr covid restriction your mostly in your room most of the time. If you don't care about not getting movie channels and such this is nice. You could always connect your Netflix or streaming account.
Imat the end of the day it was a quiet and affordable place to stay.
I had flown into California and was tired after a long flight and was there to take care of my mother’s remains as she had just passed away while I was flying there. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. I didn’t tell them what was happening at first but needed a witness signature and help with faxing several documents as the fax machine in the lobby was acting up. Your staff was so helpful, kind, respectful, and compassionate during this time. I loved my room and the services you provide. Getting up in the morning and having a nice breakfast and lots of coffee to get going was great. I always stay at a Marriott and will continue to do so in the future when I travel.
It is a nice, clean place to stay and the staff is very customer oriented. It took me a minute to figure out the temperature and fan control was the thermostat on the wall and not the usual buttons on the unit. I did not have hand soap or lotion in my room, but that is a small matter easily solved by the desk staff.
