Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Francisco San Carlos

The hotel is very dated and I was woken up repeatedly in the very early morning hours because of how thin the walls are.

It was okay. Parking lot was not well lit at night and the hotel sign wasn't easy to see.there was someone's hair in the bathtub. They have a decent gym, food, the rest was okay.

I love staying here! We will come back again. This hotel is a family friendly. We love the hot breakfast each morning! Ma'am Mercia and Ma'am Lua were very accomodating! They were always making us feel comfortable. To the receptionists, whose always greeting us! Thank you all!

The gym isn’t that big. There’s only 2 treadmills 2 elliptical machines, and 1 cycling. There’s also dumbbells. They have other items in there too. Meanwhile the rooms really depends on which one you’ve got. The one we got was pretty small, 2 Queen beds they were good, 1 bathroom that had shower and toilet, and it was also good. They also had a counter with a sink and coffee machine, medium refrigerator and small microwave, a television.again, if your comfortable with living in a “not that big” room, then go ahead, I recommend that for you. Now the pool Only goes to 5 FEET deep of water, i was pretty clean, ngl there were some bees drowned in but it’s okay. NEXT breakfast is pretty good, they have fruit, cereal, milk oats, bagels (butter, jelly), eggs, sausages, coffee, teas, juice, yogurt. Staff are friendly!

My husband and and I went to this hotel for a week while visiting family in San Mateo. Very clean Place, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The only thing I dislike was the mattress not very comfortable. Everything else was perfect, we also enjoyed the warm pool, a relaxing time with the grandkids.

This hotel is great! They have a delicious hot breakfast with a very friendly server! The entire staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend!

Very poor management, you will keep requesting room cleaning and they will promise it will be done. You come back from the long day and see that room never gets cleaned and you will have to wait 1 hr outside to get it done. This consistently happened to us for all of our say.

Gracious hosts, exceptional front desk staff Flor, Rose, and the amazing manager Mustafa, warm and attentive, great and generous breakfast, personally served each morning, a rare find in today's tough environment. Enjoy your trip to the bay area!

It's ok but hair dryer was broken makes it feel maintenance is not up to par. My wife went down to the front desk to inform the hotel personnel and they promised to send one up. After an hour we had to call and then they sent it up. I think the hotel is just a little overwhelmed due to a shortage of personnel at the moment. Otherwise they are very nice and friendly.

It's were neat place was clean smoking areas designated pool open public parking and the cleaning staff is great but on the front desk Pauline made my experience completely Miserable had no issues otherwise but for some reason even though I had been staying there for 3 weeks due to work she would continuously glare make snide remarks the overall unpleasant and rude whenever I came to the front desk me being 28 I have a feeling it was an issue with My age and be staying for so long but I paid my fees and even left tips for the cleaning crew would not stay here as she's working the front desk at all ran into her more than 5 times in my stay and each was more and more unpleasant

The toilets don't flush properly, everyone seems to follow covid-19 rules, they have a nice pool, but only one washer and dryer that doesn't work very well that requires quarters.alot of quarters, Friendly staff.

Service was very good, especially the woman on the night desk. The room was comfortable. Lobby snacks a nice convenience. Construction is a disaster currently. Only one washer dryer in the laundry totally inadequate given the many long-term guests. I was there 13 nights and many guests similarly there for multiple nights.

This consistently happened to us for ALL 4 days of our say. We were very surprised that we had to go through it every day, even after conveying same message multiple times.

Very good pricing the cheapest I could find with great service and clean well-stocked rooms and pleasant customer service

Rate was cheap on priceline loved the shampoo and conditioner didn't like the fact it was a shared commodity and wasn't sanitized or filled to be a product that's used by everyone I got the end of the supply being well used check-in was friendly
I wouldn't park near garbage a few shady cars made that clear
Freeway airport are viewed and heard

There's no pole sign for the hotel. The room's are old with worn out furniture. Staff were accommodating. Desperately in need of renovation.

This Hotel had 3 manager in less than 5 months. The current one is more corrupted than the first two. They break into people's room and take their precious belongings. Most people leave and don't know if they are missing anything. The breakfast that they are serving has expired dates. Some even come from the left over from another Guest's room that has checked out. They open people's mail and packages and claim that the name did not match with what we have at the hotel. The new manager Mostafa forge your signature on a form from Marriott so he can keep charging your credit card. Without Marriott's knowledge and when the charges hit your credit card, He blames the software at Marriott. But, Marriott already verified that their software does not do that. Most importantly when you write a bad review about this hotel make sure you post one every day! Because they delete your review! Almost all the good ones are fake! Their friends are writing them for the hotel!

Very nice and comfortable place, superb staff, professional, patient and courteous, I want to thank Flora at the front desk for helping me out with my various needs and making sure my stay at the Fairfield Inn as pleasant as possible.

Well-kept property but starting to show wear and tear inside. Lack of power outlets between the beds makes the age more apparent.

Location is.odd? Great if you need to hit peninsula area tech companies, although there's lots of other hotels too. Location right by San Carlos Airport means it gets a bit of general aviation noise too. But it was very affordable and indeed comfortable enough for the price!
