16 I had a car accident so had to stay in Indio for a night. I choose this because although more expensive than other others that advertise as pet friendly. When I arrived I found out that it is not so friendly because it will cost you $120 pet fee for just one night with my little poodle mix who doesn’t shed and has never had an accident inside.
I stayed in a La Quita Inn in Morgan Hill California that is really pet friendly and there’s no extra charge.
I did think the breakfast was good but didn’t outweigh the crazy “ pet friendly charges “
We often stay at Fairfield Inns all over the country. For some reason, this stay did not work out well. They didn't have the King room we had booked. I had even checked in the night before through the App. Also, they could not give us or even sell us a single bottle of water. The desk clerk just seemed annoyed that we were there.
If you enjoy sleeping at night, this is not the place for you.
The noise from the freeway sounds like there’s a plane engine starting in your room constantly.
Check-in was a disaster since the 2nd floor rooms were NOT ready by 4: 00PM check-in. The front counter staff was terrible, not one of the 3 was empathetic to our needs and seemed to care less about pleasing the guest. Of the 3 EV chargers, one is designated as ADA only (ADA parking), one is in inoperable, and one is functioning. Needless to say there are 4+ plug-in vehicles in the queue for a single charger. That said, the rooms were okay (but lacked a safe for storing valuables) and the road noise from the adjacent highway was horrendous. Next time I’ll be staying at the competition!
Elisia at the front desk was not very helpful I came in to book a room that showed available both online and third party apps and she said there was no availability furthermore when I requested to use the restroom she refused. I came in as a customer to Marriott and to be treated as such is very unprofessional especially when I’ve called ahead (by 20 mins) to confirm the availability. I highly depreciate this interaction and I hope further employee customer interactions are better. Personally I will not come back to this hotel due to this experience
Zero hot water was available in the shower and no answer at the front desk - how convenient. Upon following up with a Manager, only a "apology email" was received. Won't stay here again.
Out of a 4 day stay never made room service.disappointed.also out of the way from many attractions
Terrible costumer service! As a loyal member trying to check in a little bit earlier I just missed out on work. Been sitting waiting for a room for over 3 hours. And nothing to be done to prioritize a 2 queen size bedroom. Every other hotel has been cooperative on letting me check in early especially with calling in the day before and having a note made and then following up and calling in the morning of. But not this place. Don’t expect them to be helpful! You’re on your own!
Three people working the front desk. Not one was smiling. They didn’t even greet me as I approached. Alecia seems high and as a guest I was an inconvenience to her workday. When I finally got to the manager Stephanie she was just as slow and treated me as a bother to her day.
It is so sad to see a new Marriott building treated so poorly. Shower was coming off the hinges. Large Tv in the gym does not work. Glue on my desk.

Most Marriott’s struggle with staffing, yet the GM steps up and handles things I order to give a proper Marriott experience. The Fairfield Inn at Indio has a completely different take. Tons of staff, but nobody cares.
Very close to our friends who live in the area. Room was very comfortable but we had to get an extension cord for my CPAP machine. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and pastries.
Near a concert venue. Always seem to have good luck with Fairfield. Always clean and comfy and staff is always nice.
Breakfast was one of the best. I recommend the just for the breakfast. Our room had a rumbling sound, good thing we only stayed only one night. We could hear the highway all night
I am still waiting for the deposit to be returned to me from August! At check-in at the hotel, the receptionist gave me the card twice even though the reader signaled the correct transaction from the first attempt. We have written dozens of emails to report the problem but they continue to respond in a superficial way that does not appear to them without sending any evidence of transfer! Given the hotel's prices and the name that represents them, I expect adequate customer service who obviously don't even know what it is!

Sto ancora aspettando che mi venga restituita la cauzione da agosto! Al check-in in hotel, la receptionist mi ha fatto passare la carta due volte nonostante il lettore segnalava la corretta transazione già dal primo tentativo. Abbiamo scritto decine di mail per segnalare il disguido ma continuano a rispondere in maniera superficiale che non gli risulta senza mandare alcuna evidenza di trasferimento! Dati i prezzi dell'hotel e il nome che li rappresenta, mi aspetto un servizio clienti adeguato che evidentemente non sanno neanche cosa sia!
Nice rooms and great stay! Was most impressed with the breakfast buffet. Not only did they have an amazing selection of food they had everything set out early AND they left it out long after closing time. Solid service at front desk and throughout hotel. All the reasons I exclusively stay at Marriott hotels was true at this Indio location. Will definitely be back. Thanks Marriott!
First, Gina is the BEST representative of this hotel you could possibly have greet you late at night, after hours on the road. She swiftly gets you settled and off to your clean and comfortable room. We will PLAN to stay here the next time we are on our annual trip through Indio. Thanks so much Gina!
Very bad service, the old manager was very rude with us, and cancelled our reservation without any reason, Mannerless fellow. Won’t suggest anyone to stay here.
Guys beware of this old manager.
