Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Sacramento Folsom reviews
17Great staff! Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds and good coffee and breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.
I traveled here for a birthday party in the area and I've stayed at many Fairfield Inn but this one was bar far the best with the service we received. We got in at 1 am and the young lady that checked us in, Michelle was super friendly, excited to see us- I was tired when I walked into the hotel and after speaking to her, she gave me another boost of energy to unpack. She explained all that the hotel had to offer and made sure we had everything we needed.
The next morning for breakfast, ahhhh those soft biscuits with gravy, the fruit salad and mostly the happy and very helpful employee, Margaret was the cherry on the top. Whoever trains the customer service here really should do it globally. Service was A+ I hope these ladies get recognized or receive a raise because they really give this hotel a good name for themselves!
We've stayed at a few Fairfields, but this one in Folsom, California is better than the rest. Clean and cozy, great complimentary breakfast between 630am and 9, well kept rooms and a very professional front desk staff. 24 hour small gym and indoor pool too.
I normally don’t write reviews unless it’s a very impactful transaction, either positive or negative, so here we go.
A very nice and comfortable hotel. Our family stayed here in room 302, one night only. The General Manager (Matt I believe?) was working the desk, he was extremely courteous and helpful. We have a toddler and they provided a pack-n-play crib for him to sleep in while we stayed, with sheets! Anything we needed or asked was answered or provided.
The room, oh the room. They heard you like bathrooms, so they have one so big you can put another bathroom in the bathroom. The shower was probably the best non-detachable shower head I’ve had in at least a decade. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash were in conveniently mounted bottles of normal every day size, not it tiny half use bottles, and mounted inside the shower.
The beds were pillow topped comfort of greatness. The soft to hard ratio of pillows were perfect for my family.
The breakfast was really good, the coffee wasn’t burned, and biscuits were super fluffy, which paired well with the sausage gravy. The eggs were the only down side, which if they had some hot sauce would have been a-okay.
The staff was always happy and courteous, readily available with a smile, from the front desk to those helping with the breakfast.
Only thing I found, which it’s minor matter should show how well this one night went, there were scratches and tears on the wallpaper from people, normal wear and tear stuff, but it was coveredpatched with masking tape. Thought it was a smidge tacky, but hey gotta do what gotta do. 10/10.
Was very pleased with this hotel! Would 100% stay again. Called to make a same day reservation and Sarah was so helpful and when I came in she remembered are conversation on the phone. Rooms were extremely clean. The next day went down to ask a few questions and Ashley was super helpful and friendly.
Treanita was awesome. Impressed with the breakfast. Lose a star because the thermostats in rooms are governed and you can't get a cold room unless you hack the thermostat.
I didn't stay here, but the power went out at my house and I needed wifi for my laptop. They offer free WiFi! Thanks so much! Saved me from having to drive all the way into work.
Pretty good. Nice location.small gym, great breakfast, no hot tub. If it had a hot tub I'd give them 5 stars
Hospitality doesn’t exist at this hotel. Those working the front desk are rude and condescending. I didn’t feel at all welcomed. Bugs were flying around the room. Not sure how they got in, I was on the top floor. And the beds are the worst! I tossed and turned all night. The bed was stiff, and yet lumpy. Did they find these mattresses on the street? Marriott is known for their comfy beds. Not this location! Breakfast was disappointing and lackluster. AC was super loud. Indoor pool was freezing, had a problem with billing, and again was greeted with a nasty attitude from the front desk staff when attempting to resolve. This hotel did not at all live up to my expectations of Marriott. Horrible experience. Never again
Basic no frills rooms. We heard cars speeding throughout the night. The bed mattress was bumpy and worn so it was a rough night.
Location was convenient and close to shopping ctr, whole foods & starbucks.
Clean establishment, friendly staff, convenient location - best Marriott property in the area!
I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the bed. The complimentary breakfast was beyond expectation and had so much to choose from. I will plan to stay here again in the future.
Very friendly gentleman at reception, to start with, and loved how clean and beautiful lobby was. Room was extremely clean and well maintained as well. The breakfast in the morning was good- we had cereal, waffles, biscuit and gravy, fruits, bread, bakery items like muffins, bagel, etc and items were quickly replinished.
Over all a very good experience
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Although I only stayed for one night, I really wished the suites would have a stovetop and cookery equipment in case someone doesn't want to go out to eat. Did took a peek at the breakfast and it actually look pretty good for hotel buffet style. Nonetheless, this hotel is friendly, comfortable and affordable. Will definitely make this location my getaway hotel from on!
Breakfast was 6: 30-9: 30 but when we went down at 9 there was no food left! There wasn't even any mix left to make waffles nor a yogurt nor slice of bread.
Only cereal and coffee.
Didn't replenish any of the eggs, sausage, pastries, bread, waffle mix, nor anything else in the 6 empty bins.
Also didnt enforce masks anywhere although the sign said they were required in common areas almost nobody was wearing a mask.
Super patient, mask wearing employees, helpful.
Breakfast! They don't skimp.
Gym- 24 hours, jump rope, hard floor area, incline bench with dubmbells, treadmills, and elliptical. One recumbent bike. Towels, bring your own H2O.
Near Costco, freeway and In-n-Out. What more could you ask for?
Nice, quiet, great staff. Good breakfast, workout room, small indoor pool. Food options and shopping nearby.
