Room was clean and spacious. Would be 5 stars except the heating didn't work and for me the room was too cold.

No central a/c in the rooms, so they have a LOUD portable unit with a hose that goes out the window so you can't close your window at all, its open about 6" with plastic and tape over the gap. Guess what kind of sleep you get in a building that backs up to the freeway and you can't close the window? The staff were friendly, room was decent otherwise, but don't stay here until they fix their HVAC problem. Sleeping in my car would have been quieter.

Got a deal through AAA so figured I’d give it a try. The HVAC was not working — I’m guessing this was probably why there was a deal available on a holiday weekend — and they charge $12 extra for parking, which eats away at the discount. Ultimately didn’t have a comfortable night’s sleep, and won’t be back.

Very good location service was excellent even got a new room when the key and lock didn't work well. Front desk attendant went above and beyond and the breakfast attendant was amazing and very kind and personable plus food was good.

(8/15 to 8/21 of 2022)
Im a Embassador Elite and I had a reservation that I made several days in advance and after a long flight (Phoenix to San Jose) and a long Drive (San Jose to Tracy) I get to this Fairfield Inn only to be told I was being moved to the Hampton Inn across the Parking lot because they had NO ROOMS! Several days and no one called or email me to tell me about this. The Hampton only had a 2 queen room and my reservation was for 1 king bed. Hampton could not accommodate me so I went back to Fairfield to complain. They did not have a KING but they did have a 2 Queen bed room so I took that. The Rooms AC was not working. The following day during the evening I ask the girl at the front Desk if they could send someone to fix the AC but said it be better if she'd move me. I was moved to King Bed room with working AC but with only an uncomfortable desk chair and NO couch, a broken remote for the TV AND Very dirty carpet.

Plus every Morning when I would leaves for the day the Morning person wouldn't even look at me much less give me a Good Morning.

AND they didn't honor the reservation rate!
I could not wait to leave that Hotel.

Where do I begin? It's a Fairfield which automatically lowers my expectations, but this one was worse than usual. Entered the hotel. I noticed towels on the floor around the ice machine. Entered the elevator and the floor in the elevator was so wet from kids heading to their rooms after being at the pool but no wet floor sign. When I entered my room all seemed okay at first glance, however it was not. The ac in the room was broken so they had a portable unit that was vented through the window. The 2nd television was completely missing from the wall. Decided to just deal with it and take a shower. The shower head is so high on the wall that I could not reach it to adjust it and it was spraying water everywhere. One of the dispensers for shower gel was missing from the wall. Not a single wash cloth, and the towels were about 24 inches by 12 inches and rough as sand paper. Breakfast was pretty disappointing as well.

The rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The price is good.you are near everything that you could possibly need.

Cons:
1. Bedding in room was not fresh. It was wrinkled, like someone slept in it. There was hair on it.
2. Hotel is under construction.
3. Parking fee is $10/day
4. Juice/soda machine at breakfast was out of order
5. No platinum member upgrade

Pros:
1. Breakfast staff is polite
2. Check in was easy

I ONLY delivered a Door Dash order to someone, they're under construction sooooo it's not to friendly looking when pulling up.

Bathroom shower and lighting are svery poor.
Not enough outlets either.
Bed is comfortable. Service is good.

Traveling for work and stayed here, I would rate at least 2 stars if it wasn’t for the rooms consistently smelling like urine.the room smelled like someone peed all over the carpet it was nasty.overall room wasn’t horrible, the hotel as a whole could use a face lift. I would not recommend with how bad it smelled here. Was supposed to stay here for two weeks and could not bring myself to do it again

Worst hotel Ive every stayed at, AC was broken, dirty bathroom, missing towels, and tv only worked sometimes. I contacted hotel staff for AC issues and they said it would have to wait for maintenance man the next day, he never showed up.

I've traveled for work for many years (Platinum Elite member) and my main go to hotel chain is Marriott. This is my 2nd time at this hotel and my most current experience was just unacceptable. Upon check in I was give a room that when I entered it looked as if a frat party had taken place in there. Front desk was very apologetic, gave me a new room that was clean, good right? Well not so fast. 2nd room had a portable AC unit which at 1st I didn't mind, but once sun hit room it got pretty warm so I turn on AC unit and left for dinner to that when I return my room will be cool to chill and relax. To my surprise upon return to room the room temp was 85deg. Seems the heat exhaust hose came off and all the heat that was supposed to be exhausted was being exhausted into room. I attempted to re-connect hose, but due to heat existing tape was insufficient and kept sliding off. So be warn. If renting from this hotel come summer time, thing twice. You might be dealing with a HOT room during your stay. Hope hotel owners will actually spend the money to fix the issue and not put a band aid of portable AC units.

We had booked 2 rooms, they moved my friend to different hotel without any notice and told us after arriving at hotel.
AC was not working and they did not even have water bottles. Had to walk across to Hampton inn and buy drinking water.
Worst experience, will never book this again.

Upon our arrival the hotel elevator did not work. The refrigerator in our room was not cold or plugged in. One of the TV remotes needed batteries. The phone to call downstairs didn't work so we called on our cell phones. The pool was too cold for my kids to stay in for more than 5 minutes and we had to go back to the front desk to ask for towels. When they delivered batteries to our room they left them but we could not install them without a screwdriver. Another trip downstairs and we left the remote with them while we went to dinner. We also informed them that the thermostat in our room was not working. Although we had it set to 65 to cool off the room, the temperature was rising and was up to 69. They claimed they would come in and "reset" it while we were at dinner. Thermostat was still not working. When we returned. I pulled out the sofa bed for our girls to sleep on only to find that it was a single and there was no bedding in the room. Another trip downstairs and I was given a flat sheet and a paper thin blanket, (good thing it's warm in the room?), and informed that there are no pillows. Is this a joke? Come on Marriott. I will never stay here again. I would have demanded to move to a different room, but after all those trips up and down the stairs and getting the bed set up I was too tired. It was after 7: 00 in the evening and we had to get up early. They get one star for a comfortable bed.

Staff is super friendly, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, decent breakfast with "cage free eggs" etc. Hotel has indoor pool, but no gym or laundry. Walking distance to amenities (try Squeeze Burger!) One downside is proximity to highway noise.

Decent place to stop. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean, but NO GYM and apparently no partnership with the gym across the street like some sites may say. Location was close to some eateries and such, overall not terrible. Breakfast was just okay. Status doesn’t mean much here.

Worst ever my room was 84 degrees the whole 3 days with the make shift air conditioner and there was a stain on the cover and the lady at the counter was nice enough to tell the hotel was full before she switched my reservation so don't stay in room 121 other than that staff was very friendly
