It was a nice and clean campground, and it was suitable for family outdoors. It's also a good spot for fishing. You also have a restaurant, store, and lodge, plus wifi, options right next to it.

We just came back from camping! This is a nice camp and fairly clean. The reason for 4 stars is that we had to wait for almost 3 hours for the attendant to come back from wherever he was since we were not able to find our lot! The lot number was 55b and was occupied by the management. We start loading after 3 hours and manager came and we had to move! He directed us to another lot and we carried our canopies and tents that we already setup! The other reason was fire ants. There were no mention of it and we were all bitten by them. I was glad I had taken allergy pills and Benadrl cream. Otherwise, I would probably end up in the hospital since I was severely allergic and couldn’t breathe! Other than that, the site was amazing! We had a store near by that was close enough to walk. The river was fantastic! I will go back again and this time perhaps, I will take ant spray with me!

Crowded. Washrooms are dirty and no toiletpaper. Location is awesome: wild, icecold river.

My friend has been coming here for 20 plus years. My 2nd time, joining his friends for what turned out to be a perfect long weekend. The weather wasn't too hot, the river was raging & refreshing, & McNallys was delicious!

Very large and clean campground with multiple easy access to the river. Also, a big plus about Fairview Campground is that Johnny McNally's Fairview Lodge and famous steakhouse and burger stand are within walking steps from the campground! Those 40 Oz.porterhouse steaks and the world famous McNally hamburgers are to die for! Camping at Fairview without trying the McNally burger or having dinner at the McNally's Restaurant is missing out on why Fairview is so special to so many of us fans.just saying!

The good: nice size campground with some last minute sites available. Located near a bar/restaurant if you like that sort of thing. The bad: $32 per night for a small campsite, and more if you reserve online. All the waterfront sites were "reserved" though many had no-shows the next morning. The ugly: noisy! People arriving late Friday night were not considerate of other campers trying to sleep. Our site (45) was pretty trashy: broken glass and lots of small bits of garbage strewn about. Garbage truck and dumpster collection was early Saturday morning. Really?
Bathrooms (pit toilets) were clean.
