19 - Poor Communication
- Poor service - I was told that I needed to pay $2600 for a new water pump - took my truck elsewhere and it was just a loose hose and pump is fine.

This was my third service on my 2020 F250 at FF. Everybody is nice and they work efficiently and the first two experiences were fine. This time however I'm deducting two stars. I stopped in on a Tuesday at 1pm without an appointment on the off chance I could get in and the service guy said sure and would have me out by 2pm no problem. At 3pm I went looking for help but was not able to make contact with anyone, they were getting busy. I went back to the waiting area until just before 3: 30pm one of the service reps came to inform another customer that his car was done and when she saw me she said (with a tone of confidence) the cashier should be looking for me. My frustration had been percolating so I felt it would be best to be silent and get on my way. When I came back from the cashier and got into my truck I found my glove box open and the contents hanging out or on the floor. There were only two reps, one was on the phone and the other with a customer. It did bother me but there was nothing valuable and I couldn't tell if anything was missing so I just left. Maybe they needed access to a plug (?). Also, the cost went up $20 since the last service. I'll probably do routine service myself in the future.
Check engine light is on in my new car after 6 days. Problem solved by the Fairway service team. I am quickly back on the road. Thank you.
While the staff were friendly, the “repair” on my car wasn’t done well. I ended up broken down the the freeway two days later even though they’d put in a new power train. Highly frustrating experience.
We had a great experience purchasing our Expedition with Chuck. Our 2nd Ford that we’ve purchased from Fairway. They were quick to respond, honest, and overall gave great service. We didn’t feel like we wasted any time at all.

I’ve been going to fairway ford for years and every time that I have been there they have been prompt on getting the work done and if you needed a ride to and from fairway to your house it was done with the efficiency all the people that I have interacted with been kind courteous and knowledgeable so I highly recommend fairway ford for your Ford needs.
Discovered the problem I was having, and fixed it. Because it was a simple fix, they didn’t even charge me. I have taken my car in several times and every time was thoroughly pleased with the service and the helpfulness of everyone I had contact with.
This is my first for purchase’. I was very hesitant of getting a ford but when the maverick was introduced I jumped in right away. I placed my order with Chuck Treister and I was very lucky to be his client, during the long wait since demand is more than supply he was constantly communicating with me thru email and keeps me updated during the waiting period. Even though it was a more than a year wait it was all worth it. Chuck made it easy for me not to get tired of waiting by constant communication. When my Maverick arrived he called me right away and was excited to tell me the hood news. I went to fairway ford right away and transaction was smooth and i drove my maverick back hime after 2 hours. Now Im really loving my new ford maverick. We have used Fairway Ford for as long as we’ve lived in Yorba Linda, which is over 20 years. Everything from Service to finance. I always feel like I am getting the best of the person that is serving me. Recently dealt with Trina the fleet manager.she was amazing. Also dealt with Lydia last week to repair some thing on my edge and they handled it so quickly. Top notch.

I brought my CMax Energi in regarding a notice I received from Ford regarding Safety recall notice #22S43 - Shift cable bushing. The service was fast and I had my car back within a couple of hours. Good now that my car won’t roll away on me when parked! Glad that it’s fixed!

They did a good job, they were very busy and it took 5 days to hear what was wrong with my car, but they fixed it on the 5th day. I was without a car all week. My insurance will cover a rental car once the dealer initiates a claim. I was without a be all week. I called to check on it mid week and the man in the service department was very rude and told me to “just go rent a car! ”
I’m sure he was busy. It was the week of Christmas and I’m a Senior citizen living on Social Security, so I was depending on my insurance to cover the cost. It has all worked out, but he really did not handle the situation very well.
