Family Auto Sales, Victorville CA

I was sold a car that had problems from the get go.
The cars transmission failed within 4 months of having it. The brakes needed to be replaced not even a month after having it. Oil change was not done. Car started making noises three weeks in.
I would not recommend this place. Not even in the slightest.
They say they run your credit but they run it through 10 different companies and it does not fall under one credit check. It’s multiple hard inquires made on your report.

I just would like to Thank Mr. Chris, Not only was he not pushy he listened to our personal needs and got us the best deal that worked perfect for us and our family.

This is my 'initial' 1st review of our experience with Family Auto Sales (06/04/2023)

This is, by far, one of the friendliest car dealerships you will come across in the high desert. There prices are considerably lower than that of other dealerships in and around the Victorville, CA, area, as well as those dealerships "down the hill".

Both Daniel & Chris made our entire buying experience on 06/04/2023 a sheer pleasure.
We already had our own financing in place (draft check from our credit union) and already had a good idea of what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend.

From their it was just a matter of finding the right vehicle, which we did! 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4 SUV. (64, xxx miles)

The 'asking' price for this SUV along with sales tax, and the usual California DMV fees came in about $1800 MORE than what my budget called for. I was very upfront with Daniel about how much I wanted to spend on this particular vehicle and was really expecting to have to go a few rounds with Daniel on the price to make that happen but much to my surprise, after about 5 minutes of re-crunching his numbers, Daniel came back with an 'out the door' price that fit within MY budget along with a full tank of gas (KUDO's for that!)

I'd also want to give a shout out to Kaylene, the gal at Family Auto Sales who handled the DMV paperwork for our Jeep. We never met her in person, but she called us today to let us know that our plates and tags had arrived at the dealership.
It took Kaylene less than 2 weeks to get everything completed.

I can tell you right now that most other dealerships, you will end up waiting upwards of 30-60 days to get your updated plates/tags back from the DMV and/or the dealership itself.
To get it done is under 2 weeks is unheard off!

We live 140+ miles away from Victorville so instead of having to drive back to Victorville, CA to pick up the plates from Family Auto, Kaylene offered to mail them to us via USPS (Priority) instead, at no charge.

Living as rurally as we do we put a LOT of mileage (25,000+ miles per year) on our vehicles and needless to say we end up having to buy vehicles every 4-5 years. Family Auto Sales will be our very 1st choice in dealerships when we purchase our next vehicle. Thank you!

I had the best experience I've had at any Auto dealer. We were in and out in an hour and a half. Chris and Erick are the nicest, most helpful guys to work with. We appreciate all your help!

In the span of the first 3 months, the check engine light turned on 4 times. What seemingly was fixed was only temporary as the light came back on days later. I ended up being told that I would have to go outside of the dealership and pay out of pocket to get it fixed, when the car was still covered.

I went to family autos this afternoon looking for a car I’m 18 years old looking for my first car the older gentleman helped me out told me a car that was in my budget I test drove it came back done all the paperwork he is a great guy very nice, funny, and very professional when I made the deal on that car he was so happy he gave me a hug he was very happy for me he’s a great guy and will go back again what a great experience!

Chris and Daniel were very awesome Chris was super friendly and made everyone feel comfortable while Daniel worked some magic with the financing Overall took about 2 hours which was awesome as these things can sometimes drag on. This was my first time making a big kid purchase like this and Chris and Daniel made sure I understood everything and I was comfortable with my purchase. Would definitely recommend them if you're a first time buyer and you're nervous
