Family Plumbing Heating & Air, Murrieta CA

I called family plumbing and heating because of the great reviews. We had our furnace go down during a cold wave, and the technician came the same day, which is what the 1 star review is for. However, he didn't do anything besides listen to the motor, unplug it, and tell us to call our home warranty. For the $98 service fee, he could have inspected further to find that, in fact, the furnace did not have a dead motor and was still operational. Luckily, we found another company that helped us get our heat back.

I also got a call from family plumbing and heating the next day asking for payment for the "service, " but we already paid the technician before he left. I'm not sure what is going on, but we didn't get the same experience as the other reviews. I honestly wish I saved my money by not calling them.

Family plumbing and heating contacted me to make things right. I appreciate their integrity. They sent out a tech named Doug with our refund. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered some questions we had.

Darrell came out 3 times to my home, did a fantastic job every time, super friendly and professional.

We have used Family Plumping for several services and won't use any other plumbers. They installed our ice maker which entailed climbing under our house to take out the old pipes and put in new ones. They replaced our shower head because we couldn't reach it - free of charge. And most recently took replaced a bidet seat. Each time the plumbers were efficient and professional. Tammy give us a 3 hour window of time and they stick to it - calling if they are going to be late and calling when they are 20-30 minutes out. We can't ask for better service. A strong recommendation.

Darrell came out and fixed a leak we were having. He was quick and professional. It was refreshing having an honest company come out and do great work and not try to squeeze every penny out of you. I highly recommend using this company if you want honesty and fair price.

Very responsive. Very quick, as well! I requested a new furnace and AC on Thursday and they picked the equipment up and installed on Friday! Dino, Nicholas, Omar, Blake and Tammy were the team of people who helped make this happen. Shout out to all of them for a great job! Thank you, Family Plumbing, Heating and Air!

I wish I could give them 10 stars. This company is super professional and answers quickly. Dino found a open time slot and hint me up sooner. He went out of his way to help me. He sent out Doug to fix our AC and he greeted me like a friend would like he knew you before. He also went out of his way to explain how everything works. He said hey man we ain't out to get you we just want to help people out and fix their stuff. I have two kids and that night without air was brutal but they came out and fixed it. We had a different company come out he wanted to charge us way over the top price. Honest, professional, and great work. Thanks Dino and Doug some good guys.

In the midst of a nasty hot Temecula summer, our AC unit went out. I called a few places and Family Plumbing, Heating & Air was the only one who answered the phone, made an appointment to have a service tech come out within a few days and actually showed up! Nick was our technician and he was amazing! He was on time (which is unheard of), he explained everything he was doing and why, in terms I understood, he made sure everything worked prior to leaving, he cleaned up meticulously and was so polite. I absolutely recommend Family Plumbing, Heating & Air.

We paid them $175 to turn off our air conditioner because the heater was broken for 6 months they refuse to come out and turn the air conditioner back on they never called when they got any parts in to fix the heater either.
$175 and they won't guarantee their work

This company saved us when the motor went out on our blower and we were having a heat wave. 115 in the desert with no a/c was awful! Nick was our service specialist, and he gave us the best service! Wish I could leave 5 stars and I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews but after the 5th time waiting for Darrel to finish the job he started on the water heater, I have no choice. The initial technicians that came out were great and so was the technician that replaced the HVAC unit. But we were PROMISED Darrel would come and finish connecting the water heater…5 TIMES! And nothing. Only received one phone call a month ago why Darrel wasn’t coming and we rescheduled. Today was another let down. No Darrel and no phone call. I had to call and was told they would call back and never did. At this point I see no reason to call. We will have to call another company to complete the job started by Family Plumbing…how disappointing and unprofessional. I would recommend for A/C but if water heater needs to be done and the name Darrel is mentioned, best use another company.

FOLLOW UP: Jorge came out to finish the job Darrel did not. Very nice and professional! Job well done! I am giving 5 stars for the 5 star service given by Nick, Jose, Florencio and Jorge! You guys are AWESOME!

I’ve used this company at least 3 times and every time they’ve been able to come out right away, they’re honest and they do good work. I’d def recommend as there are some really bad plumbing companies in and around Escondido. Ask for Darrell

We were in need of a new pressure regulator. We were able to get a same day appointment and did not expect that at all. Darrell not only replaced our regulator but was able to overcome every obstacle he ran into with determination. We never realized how low our water pressure really was.
Also, in these times of everyone else inflating prices, Darrell was able to work with us to reduce the labor cost due to the price of the unit being so expensive.

Quick, fast service! We called them on Wednesday and we had a new AC by Friday. They were super friendly, professional, and the best prices. We will without a doubt use them in the future! These days it seems hard to find a reliable service company. You are lucky you found these guys! HIGHLY recommend!

Had a brand-new Air conditioner installation and a brand new water heater installation. They came out for the estimate and they installed BOTH the a/c and the water heater the next day. Started at 9am and finished by 3: 30pm. Omar, Nicholas and Gabriel (the crew) were you AWESOME. Three young men, very respectful, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
PRICE FOR COMPLETE INSTALLATION WAS VERY VERY REASONABLE.
This company is now my go to for any and all HVAC and plumbing needs. I am extremely happy with the work and the price.

Our water heater was mostly providing cold water. Called and they came out the next morning, to check it out. The tech found an unexpected problem, a very small leak under the control device affecting the heating system, ie will need a new water heater.
The tech expedited getting a replacement, and installing the new one, in a very difficult location. All this was accomplished in one day, with hot water available by dinner time.
Even with the work being expedited, the quality of the work was excellent. Even with today's prices, I felt the cost was reasonable.thank you Ron
