I purchased my travel trailer here a few years ago and overall I thought the entire process was disappointing. While part of this is on me, and I should have better educated myself, I think a company using a name like "Family RV" should have more honesty and integrity.

Since I didn't have a truck, they delivered the unit to my campground. The guy did not even try to level the unit or explain to me how to get help leveling the unit. I then called and asked about leveling it, and the salesperson told me to use my hydraulic jacks to do this. I knew better and did not break my jacks trying to level the unit. They are ONLY for stabilization on the unit I purchased.

I found out later that they inserted thousands of dollars in extra fees for things I did not ask for. Things like a paint package, when you are already buying the unit as it sits, and a warranty I would have not asked for, or would have canceled early had I noticed soon enough. This was the part that was on me, but now I have learned what I need to do in order to avoid this in the future.

Just overall very disappointing.

Jeremy was our sales rep and showed us all of various styles that we like and let us know cost without pushing us to buy! This is an indoor showroom which is awesome!

Dave the tech guy is awesome and London in the service department was great made sure all my needs were taken care of thanks to you both of you

Love this place So nice to be able to walk around and enjoy looking with Out being pressured to buy. I believed the young man who helped us was Adrian he was very knowledgeable And extremely helpful and answering our questions

Sales - The lady that sold us our trailer was fairly pushy (comes with the nature of the business). What bothered me was them trying to sell me a 5k lb trailer for my mid-size pick-up (Tacoma). I did my research and knew there was no way I was getting anything over 4k dry, since although you are "under" the tow rating, you're gonna break the payload pretty quick. She insisted several times that people tow bigger with a mid-size. All in all, we did all of our own research and saw they had what we wanted in their inventory.

Service - The service here is really good. We got an extended covered package, which has worked out very good. We've taken it back at least twice in the 7 months of ownership and both times, everything had been serviced within about a week. I have heard horror stories of Giant RV and people having to wait weeks and sometimes months (!) for their rig to be serviced. My only gripe is their 9-5 hours. Basically means I can only pick up/ drop off my trailer on the weekends which is not ideal. I would rather deal with that than the weeks of waiting at other shops.

I've been taking my fifth wheel to Family RV for service and repair for years now. My father purchased a trailer from them and my mother-in-law has purchased a couple of trailers from them as well. Outstanding customer service. No pressure sales. I'll always bring my business to Family RV
