Fatto a Mano, The Pasta Shop reviews
17This is a "must" experience when in the South Bay area. Marco is an amazing guy making amazing food. And the experience eating with him is unmatched!
Every dish tastes like it’s got generations of Nonna’s love infused in it. Amazing pizza, pasta, salad, and sweets. As authentic as it gets!
Marco is a culinary maestro, showcasing unparalleled skill in crafting both pizza and pasta dishes. His pizzas are a symphony of flavors, with perfectly crispy crusts and tantalizing toppings that delight the taste buds. Equally impressive are his pasta creations, cooked to perfection and bursting with exquisite homemade sauces. An absolute must-visit for those seeking authentic and delectable Italian cuisine.
I'm an italian exchange student and this is a real authentic Italian restaurant with real Italian food.
Everything is so fresh as you can taste in each bite - can’t wait to try the carbonara next! Great customer service! They were very warm and inviting.
Absolutely love this place and the owner. Come if you want the best pasta of your life and a welcoming atmosphere. All their pasta is made fresh, so the wait might be longer than other places, but the wait is so worth it.
Omg this place is bomb! Honestly one of the best places I have ever been to! Aside from how great the food is, the owners are super friendly and awesome! We just moved to the area and cant wait to eat here more often! The hot cocoa is the cherry on top! Keep up the good work!
The Best Authentic Italian Food! The service, staff, atmosphere is Amazing. The Food was absolutely Spectacular! This will be on my regular returns men.
Good food and incredibly warm hospitality! I especially liked the pasta with Carbonara sauce. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. This place is tiny, but with a large heart. Recommend it.
Good food and great service!
Tried this place out after seeing their pizza was highly recommended. The staff was incredibly friendly even though some of their website information was a little funny/off putting. The price was a bit higher than expected but not anything unheard of these days. The food was very good, the pizza was a different style than we are used to but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would certainly come here again!
Got 2 pasta dishes and the rosemary to fill up, and honestly I should've ordered more. I Cleaned the plate, it was delicious and I can't wait to go again.
We came on a Saturday around 12: 15 and was greeted by Arlene at the register. It was our first time here, and she was kind enough to explain each menu item and which sauce goes well with which pasta. We were told that if we chose to eat there, we’d have to wait around 45 minutes for our food, which was fine because other reviews told us to expect this wait time.
We ordered the carbonara sauce with linguine, bolognese sauce with fettuccine, and a slice of margherita pizza. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The texture of the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce fully coated the pasta.
They also offered complimentary espresso for us while we waited. They have limited seating inside their store, so we came at a good time. They do require you to order before you sit at a table so it’s fair.
Arlene and Marco provided exceptional service! They constantly came to check on our meal to ensure we were satisfied with the texture of the pasta and taste of the sauce. They really seem to care about the quality of their food.
We finished our pasta and waited for a while, but our slice of pizza still hadn’t come yet. Arlene realized that they had made a mistake and forgot about our pizza. She was kind enough to let us know and even comped us for the pizza. Both Arlene and Marco were very apologetic, and we really appreciated their generosity.
We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for the excellent food and customer service.
This hole in the wall is such a hidden gem. The food is INCREDIBLE. The chef Marco and his wife are so friendly it felt like we were at their house just having dinner.
Now the wait is 45 minutes but that’s because everything is cooked made to order which is why everything taste so damn good.
If you don’t want to wait then don’t bother or just order on phone and pick it up. If you have time and don’t care about the wait it’s 10000% worth it. Don’t hesitate. Take a break from whatever you’re doing and just enjoy.
Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I randomly came across this incredible hole in the wall after my boyfriend’s haircut next store and wow what a gem.
The service was amazing, they go through each menu item with you and you never feel rushed. Now they tell you before you order that the wait is 45 minutes which we were completely fine with because it’s made to order and so so fresh! Waiting in the restaurant feels like being in an Italian family’s kitchen with how friendly and nice they are.
We already have decided we are going back to try more items on their menu. If you are willing to wait for some of the best italian food 10/10 go and hangout!
I can tell from the dessert alone that this place may very well be Michelin quality. I must return many times and try many dishes. The chefs here are talented.
Excellent food but the price is high, like you'd pay at a high end restaurant where some of the cost is to cover for the elegant surroundings and fawning service. Only you don't get that here when ordering takeout. There really isn't a dining room. Nice people but the price point needs an adjustment. Glad we tried it. It's litterally a mom and pop, which we love. No regrets. Hard working people, sometimes, you just have to pay for quality and then decide if it provides value for yourself.
Let me Tell you About This Wonderful Little Gem that I Found on My Visit in Cali from Boston.
The Roman Chef Marcos has such A Passion for his Culinary Craft that it Shows in his Made From Scratch Creations.
As we Continued to Chitchat he would Greet Everyone with a Big Smile and Inviting Manor that Reminds me of The Old Country and his wife Arlene was so Great to Talk too also.
Now let's get into The Roman Style Pizza which was Awesome.
The Light and Airy Dough was Magnificent.
The Taste of Fresh Tomatoes and Basil was Sinfully Intoxicating.
The Hand Shredded Mozzarella Combined to Create a Symphony of Flavors. The Roman Style Margarita Pizza is So Amazingly Delicious.
The Romaine Salad was a Refreshing Delight.
The Service was Great.
Arlene and Marco keep up The Great Work.
See you Guys on My Next Visit to Cali.
I Highly Recommend Fatto a Mano!
