FedEx Office Print & Ship Center reviews
18 I really appreciate the manager and staff at this location. The are really fantastic, especially the manager.
The one star is for the two self service copy machines that also do scans of photos and documents. Both machines malfunctioned while I was in the middle of a project. Time was wasted moving from one machine to the next and getting a failure notice from both.
I highly recommend that FedEx parent company takes the time to come to this location and do a full diagnostic on the printing/scanning/copy machines and either fix them or replace them. FedEx needs to support its employees at this location. They cannot provide the excellent service they want to if their machines are dysfunctional or outdated.
I would not recommend this store for any printing, shipping, or packing. The self-service copiers work, in a technical sense, but they provide a limited range of service. The staff here is woefully incompetent, probably due to the going wage for entry-level professional services. (The wage regime in this country discourages skillful work.) Do not expect your order to be printed on time. Do not expect your package to be shipped without several dozen data entry errors. Do not expect much of anything. Unfortunately, nearby competitors are equally bad.
So I just finished a 52 page document and I need to have it printed in a presentable manor for court. I have a Canon Pixma PRO 100 photo printer, and some other cheaper all in one Canon for documents right here at home. I needed something in between those however so I headed off to the local Kinko’s (because that’s what they’ll always be to me). We walk in to the location at 93 east San Carlos, and proceed to walk up to the counter. When I tell the employee I need to print a document, he ushers me off to the self serve printers I tried to protest saying I wanted to have a binding put on them, etc but we’re sent off to fumble our way through the process while the employee played on his phone.
The results were worse than I could have accomplished without leaving the house. The paper was so thin that you could see right through it making it unreadable. I ask for a refund so I can find a location that has an employee that want’s to actually work and help a customer. The employee is about as capable at issuing a refund as he was at helping us in the beginning which is not at all. We settle on re-printing the document. He hands it back still see through and now printed single sided which the original one was done double sided. Of course he didn’t ask any questions, try to do any tests etc to know what we wanted or needed. The whole time his personal phone was ringing and when it did stop it was only long enough for the store phone to ring. Yes you could tell it was a personal call.
I spent just over $100 and wasted 30 min not including travel time to end up with a worthless pile of paper, and only the knowledge I’m done using this location.
Since we still have an upcoming court case and I still want a chance as re-cooping some money, we headed off to the next closest “Kinkos”. This time the location in The Alameda. Here we are greeted by Jazmin. She was able to get a name tag on this morning, so we were already one step ahead of the random kid working at the last spot. We explained to her what we wanted. Went over a couple of samples, and settled on a paper weight that would work. Now I have confidence that I have a set of 3 documents being printed that will be just what I asked for. If it were up to me I would fire the kid playing on his phone and hand the money to Jazmin. She seems to be at work to actually work, which is very much appreciated by those people walking in trying to pay for a service.
Dynasti did an absolutely stellar job fixing our botched order in a timely fashion. She was really a life-saver.
DON’T EVER TAKE PASSPORT PHOTOS THERE. You will have your head way off centered (one ear will flush with the photo edge). And the staff will argue with you and say you are picky. I will never go back there for anything!
Went in with poster graphics and flyer to print. Ken provided excellent customer service - fast and efficient. He was polite and friendly and exceedingly helpful. Definitely five star customer service.
No receipt and computers seem purposefully slow. Got home and found out that printing two pages costed $10
Visited this location 10/15 and while I only saw one person working and one other person in the store, I felt warmly welcomed by a very helpful and eager to assist associate. I have been to this location multiple times and have always enjoyed my encounters with the staff. I try to be patient so perhaps that's why my experience has been different than some others.
I have had nothing but great experiences with the service at this location.
Keep up the good work!
Great store with super friendly service! I brought my files to print on a USB, and was pleasantly surprised to see the self service kiosk by each of the 2 printer/ copiers. I just inserted my USB drive and was able to print files with ease! This means I didn't haven't to pay 35 cents/ min just to use their desktops!
There are glues, marker, and binder bins available on each desk next to the printer. The front desk staff / owner was friendly and courteous, and finished processing my package within 5mins. Stress free and fast service, highly recommended.
Worst customer service in town. If you want your package lost, stolen, or opened by the staff at this location you can be sure they will do this for free of charge if the don't turn you and your package away before accepting it. Employee are on a power trip and assume the customer is always wrong. They work really hard at turning business away.
They are so helpful. The nice lady that worked there even told me about the beast way to get that 71 pound box home.)
Single employee working early morning and very helpful. She helped me pack and gave me tip on tracking on smart label shipment via usps. Thx.
A very small but very accommodating FedEx Office. The staff has always been very friendly and willing to help even though I usually have large and complicated print orders. I always drive further to visit this location even though there is one much closer to where I live.
It is a small facility, so there might not be very many employees available during a rush. But it is worth it if you're willing to wait.
Turned away for trying to use an Amazon box. Asked for clarification and was told any other reused shipping box would be fine as long as it wasn't from Amazon. Of course they'd be happy for me to pay them to repack my shipment.
I had a very large shipping order to take of - Leslie and Ken were beyond amazing, friendly, professional, competent and quick - the whole experience was fantastic. Would certainly recommend this location to anyone!
This is my local FedEx shop, and I use it regularly to print, copy and fax as I no longer have a home device to do these things. Very convenient hours. And the staff there have always been incredibly helpful no matter how complicated or small the task.
Jimmy rocks! This is my favorite FedEx and I use this store regularly. Jimmy is always helpful and gets things done. He makes good judgement calls when files or instructions are not as clear as they could be. Plus he is a nice guy and a pleasure to do business with.
I regularly send FedEx shipments out of this location and have had nothing but courteous, professional service.
