FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, Berkeley CA

Just went there and, after all these 1 stars, I was expecting a horrible experience. Instead the lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Could all these bad reviews be a case of "you get what you give"?

Worst customer service.
I asked for help with the copy machine and she didn’t help me. I stayed in the line to have her make a copy of my documents but she went with other customer. Not helpful at all.

I practically use this location everyday. My work requires me to ship documents on a daily basis. The staff here are very helpful. The equipment is always in working condition.

Yikes. This place is a last resort, but only if you absolutely need it.

Getting help from an employee feels like pulling teeth. If you're actually looking for help, advice, or expertise, don't expect to find it here.

Please update your hours with the time you are open. I tried to come here Friday morning, and the store was closed all morning.

I used this location a lot last year for printing and copying school projects. They were always helpful, polite, and got the job done when they said they would. There were times when I had to wait to get a reluctant sales representative to help me figure out computer problems, but you can't expect them to be super enthusiastic on a low hourly wage.

Overall, I've had good experiences with these guys.

Indeed. Cheap (better than a competitor nearby who wanted to charge me $2 just to retrieve some files from a USB drive, while it was free here, only the 10 cent a page to print.)

I like to support small local businesses like the one-man shop on Domingo across from the tennis club. But if I need a large or important copying, faxing, or shipping job done, I drive a little farther to the Fedex on College near Alcatraz. They have helpful staff, well maintained equipment, and better prices.

After reading Yelp reviews I didn't even try the FedEx centers near Lake Merritt. This one has good reviews, so I'm choosing it as my new packing center. On my first visit, they didn't have the exact box needed for my packing job so they took a large box and cut it down. Packed it very well, but a little too large a box equals more expensive shipping. I will continue to go here for my packing needs.

This FedEx location is simply amazing! We had an event that needed banners, table numbers, promo code cards.etc, the staff was super helpful!

I'm based in the NYC and had trouble with placing the same order at the NYC FedEx. Called this Berkeley FedEx for help. Definitely call them again when we have another event in the CA area.

Had passport photos taken. $16.43. Clerk couldn't take a $50 bill. Wouldn't take my $14.24 which is all I had in smaller bills. Left without pics and they threw away the pics. Really? ! A huge chain corporation can't take a $50 dollar bill?

Told i could not ship anything if it was not in a cardboard box.it was well sealed and wrapped in shipping paper. 4x wrapped like an art project.they suck.

Employees fighting with customers, and each other? I'll pass. I witnessed some pretty horrendous customer service behavior that makes me unwilling to come back.

This place has problems. Young woman working was rude and unhelpful literally from the first question I asked. She should find a job where she doesn't have to interact with people. Slow, rude and overall terrible customer service.

Horrible experience. The guy who I believe is the manager did not work with FedEx support to help me with my package and some issues I was having with delivery. Instead, he allowed the package to be loaded on a truck to return to Georgia. Meanwhile, I am waiting home all day to receive the package. I get a call about 1pm today that the package is heading back to Georgia. He didn't even care about giving me a courtesy call that he was going to ruin my day and the chance of receiving my package. Good luck to this office in future business dealings, they are going to need it.
