Ferry Building Marketplace reviews
17Came over on the ferry to see the fireworks.too far to walk. But the ferry building looks great. Lots of shops.
Such a fun day date place to hold hands, taste yummy treats and get little goodies! Fun to take the ferry from Oakland to SF for a full experience.
Make sure to get ice cream at Humphry Slocombe. My favorite was strawberry Basil. A lot of restaurants, artisanal bread, cheese, chocolates, pastries, etc.
Awesome place to try amazing different types of locally produced food. Do get your food to go and eat enjoying the view from the Bay Bridge with other locals outside the building.
Great place to visit with lots of food choices and specialty items to enjoy. Relax on the water by the bay.
Beautiful location on the water with unique hand crafted shops. One of the best SF Farmers market on Tuesday, and weekends!
Transit meets tourist meets great views and ppl watching.
Relax while waiting for a better commute time
Great place to visit all kinds of food places great view of the city skyline, bay bridge and Yerba Buena Island and have farmers market on saturdays if you have s chance get a tour of the place history
Tip: secure space on back dock first and send someone for food, space fills up quickly and hard to eat otherwise.
There is a large Farmers Market along the outside front with a number of interesting shops inside, mostly related to food or cooking. If you're a foodie there is great selection of fresh items to munch on or to get a quick bite at lunch.
Wonderful place to spend an afternoon over great wine, great food, friendly atmosphere, and NONE of the "you cannot bring outside food here". Definitely buy some empanadas and go to Wine Bar for a cheese plate!
I love this place! If you fancy going out for a nibble, a nourishing meal or just a glass of wine and cheese this is your place.
Whenever I feel like having ice cream while looking on to the dazzling 25,000 LED lit Bay Bridge, I go to this amazing place!
Humphrey Slocombe is one of the best ice cream places in SF. And of course there are plenty of restaurants and shopping places here. It's a treat when you bring your friends or family with you in the evening (before 6pm)
Wish we had more time to spend at the ferry building. Really liked that the vendors worked with each other.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in SF, I visit every time I am in town! You can get locally made food and ingredients, its an SF version of a really good farmers market! I Love the Cow Girl creamery for lunch (try the grilled cheese) as well as Humphrey Slocombe for ice cream. It can get busy on the weekends so I usually take my food to go.
Great food and niche stores. Try the Argentinian empanadas, best empanas in North America.
We had the traditional beef, lamb and acelga.
All 3 were great!
Was amazing just a lot of Germans though. 11/12 would visit again. And no American flags which was pretty weird
