Claudia and the gang at Rancho 51 were positively awesome! The accommodations were spot on, the taco truck kept my belly full, the slushy cart quenched my thirst, awesome shuttle service (thank you, Mario), the pool, the massages, Saturday morning Yoga, and the best part.it's owned by locals and not some corporation!
If ever you are in Indio for Coachella, StageCoach, PowerTrip, or just vacationing in SoCal.check out Rancho 51! Phenomenal experience and well worth it!

My husband and I stayed here for the PowerTrip Festival in October 2023. We had a blast! The pool was perfect as temps were in the low 100s during the day, plus an awesome DJ played music poolside. They brought in food trucks during the day and (probably most crucially) after the concerts till 3am. There were flushing, solar toilets and showers which were cleaned everyday; and because the camping capacity was fairly low, we didn't have to wait for hours to use them. We also recommend splurging for the shuttle service as the concert venue was close, but still a bit of a trek especially in the hot, Indio weather.
If we ever come back for another festival, we are definitely staying here again!

100% must book for any event/ festival! We stayed during PowerTrip 2023 and had a yurt with a queen size bed. Clean accommodations and spacious tent! Bring towels and recommend a battery operated fan or bring a fan to plug in (plugs/ charging stations outside tent). Pool was great and so was the DJ! Plenty of food and glamor options (beauty bar and massage and slushies tent) not included but worth every penny. Showers and bathrooms were clean. I can't say enough good things about this little glamping paradise!

Stayed here for Coachella W1 and it has pros/cons.

Pros:
1) great option if you are in a last minute bind for housing for Coachella
2) staff is nice
3) great late night taco stand
4) fun onsite services (not included) like hair and massages
5) nice Pool area to relax
6) free dates from the date trees on site

Cons:
1) we were abandoned by the shuttle service (Mario) on the first night calling him and texting him multiple times that my friend was sick. He told us it would arrive in 10 minutes and we waited an hour in the cold. Had to end up calling an Uber and spending $90 in addition to the expensive shuttle fee.
2) towels were not included and were an extra charge
3) the tents were not properly ventilated so you would overheat in the mornings
4) no outlets in the tents so you need to leave devices outside to charge
5) the showers were disgusting, smelled horrible, clogged, and filled with hair

Overall given the amount we paid, it was not worth the value. Try to reserve somewhere else in advance.

I’ve stayed here twice already for Coachella 2022 and 2023, and I still cannot say enough great things about this place! All the staff members are incredible, but huge shout out to Alan for really going above and beyond!

This place is amazing to stay if going to a festival nearby! Just recently stayed here for Coachella 2023. First time going to this festival and staying here made the trip 100x better. Definitely take advantage of the shuttle this place provides.
The bathroom and restroom are clean. A huge plus is that there’s never a long line or waiting time to use either of them.
The pool is an amazing. Everything this place offer, is just wonderful.
While booking, I choose the option of the tent they provided. It is very spacious and clean when checking in. The checking in process is very smooth.
Claudia is an amazing host and no words to describe how incredible this person is! She goes above and beyond!
If you have a specific request, she will try her best to meet it.

Can't say enough good things about this place and its staff. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The spot is 5 minutes away, but with all the congestion it does take about 10 minutes to get dropped off at the Empire Polo Grounds, which is not terrible at all. The BRs and the pool are clean. They have food trucks during the day, a taco stand at night. You can bring your own drinks and food too. It was really great! Thank you, Claudia and her team for everything they did. They made us feel at home!
