Fiery Shanghai reviews
14I still vividly remember the overwhelming sense of happiness when I tasted their free range chicken soup for the first time months ago. I didn’t live in Shanghai so I can’t speak to authenticity by general Chinese food standard this place definitely ranks very high.
This is American Chinese restaurant, everything is sweet, sea cucumber with beef tendon one menu is $28.93 and another menu is $38.93, the waitress said 38.93, that’s no problem because she said it’s good so we got it. But it comes out in a Little pot and taste nasty and way too sweet, we asked the waitress why it tastes like this and if they can change it but they refused to do so. Also the Shanghai braised pork is sweet too, it tastes so different than in another restaurant, prices is ridiculous high and not even a good food. I will never go back again.
Incredibly authentic delicious and spicy Chinese food. A hidden gem in a brush of other delectable options.
Pleasantly surprised. First time eating here. Better than most restaurants I've eaten in China Town. Mai waited on us and she's very attentive and courteous. Thank you!
The food is absolutely delicious… and is also given in generous portions… It doesn’t taste cheap or greasy at all… They specialize in so many varieties of dishes and the quality never lacks… Amazing welcoming staff and very good customer service… Additionally, the ambience is very pleasant… Definitely a must try!
Very helpful and courteous servers. We ordered Shanghai noodle, siu long BAO and beef noodle. Other than the beef noodle, the rest are pretty good. Beef noodle though is the worst I have eaten. The beef is so tough that it was almost impossible to chew. So disappointed.
We ordered a big order 2day ahead to pick up at new years at 6pm and they even charged us before hand …but when we arrive at 6 they were not ready at allllllll. Made us wait for 1hour. Terrible service. Do not come
Fiery Shanghai has more of an authentic Chinese menu than what many are used to. So this means you won't find orange chicken or General tsao's that you expect. This is located in a brand new plaza across the outlet. The service was great and they were very friendly refilling our tea. We ordered wonton soup, cold brisket in spicy oil, and the fish fillet in spicy oil. Everything tasted excellent and it was prepared amazingly fast. I definitely recommend this place. Just an FYI, their dim sum options are limited for dinner and they were out of the pan-fried buns at our dinner visit.
The food was delicious and authentic Chinese Beijing dishes. The serving were large so my wife and I had a lot of take out afterwards. The service was fast and courteous. The tables and design looked authentic Chinese setting. My wife and I will definitely go back for more and even recommend it to friends.
Way too expensive for what you get.
The only good thing about this restaurant is the booth seating.
Ordered a kung pao chicken and rice from here. My verdict is that the food taste is just about average, very overpriced. Not ordering from here again.
Ordered pickup through their website and scheduled it for 430pm. Arrived at 430 and they hadn't even started, had to wait another 25 min for the food to be ready. Wish I could have taken back the tip I left when I initially paid online.
Before we got jajang noodles, soup and steam ham, the deserts were served at second dishes.waitress said Shanghai people eat desert before main course. Noodles is very plain.
4 people and spent close to $200. Good ones - salty egg covered rice; string beans. Rest was average (ribs, fish, etc.).
