The traditional Benedict was okay but not great, but the rosemary potatoes were good. The mimosa flight was a good value, but was served warm which was not ideal. Service was okay, patio was cute.

This restaurant was the highlight of our San Diego vacay! I just happened to Google breakfast spots in the area and the Fig Tree Cafe popped up, so we gave it a try. It was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend has been to SD multiple times and he said his breakfast burrito here was the best one he’s ever had in SD! We got the mimosa flight which was top tier. My salmon avocado toast was so fresh and so yummy! We give it 10 stars, and have told so many people to go here if they are in the SD area! The service is also really good and the atmosphere it was makes this place just the best. It’s open air with little birds flying around, super cute decor, and just a chill vibe.

I’ve eaten here a few times with my girlfriends. Cute place - food is pretty yummy. The flies are a little annoying. The service, every single time I’ve been, has been awful. Very slow, we’ve been served wrong drinks before with no offers to make corrections, no refills on waters; there typically isn’t a hostess there to be seated, we have waited 10 minutes before to be seated when it was not busy. Last time we went, after we were given menus, the serve didn’t come by to take our drink orders for 30 minutes, which then it took another 30 minutes for the drinks to come out, only for them to be the wrong drinks. Truly a bummer because we love this place but the service makes us not want to go.

Sitting by the fig tree has a nice ambiance. Definitely a hangover spot. For the food there were lots of healthy options. Awesome that a la carte poached eggs were only 2 buckarinis.

Food is very good. Nice selection of well done coffee drinks. Set up the large table for our group of 9 with no issue, and served us quickly, considering how busy they are and the size of our group. My kids appreciated the gluten free French toast flight of 3 flavors.

Breakfast burrito was awesome. Fun cafe, great brunch vibe. Very popular but not too busy weekday mornings.

Once we got a text that our table was ready, we headed to the check-in desk and were seated. Another group was seated at the same time as us. 2 people in their group, 4 in ours. They ordered and we ordered immediately after them. They got their food about 15 minutes later. They finished their meals, paid their bill and left. We STILL had not received our food. I asked the waitress, who at no point gave us a status until we asked. Eventually, after a full hour of getting our text and being seated did we finally get our food. We had to ask for silverware, and spoons for the tomato soups! At this point we were starving and extremely frustrated and didn’t bother complaining about the missing substitute sourdough bread for brioche in our grilled cheese sandwiches, or the missing choice of fries or salad with one of the meals. Food was okay, but the worst service we’ve had in several years.

The "thick" bacon was anything but.the "real maple syrup" was a long way from "real. " Maybe some wait staff training on what the kitchen has to offer would help manage customer expectations.

Great place to have breakfast or brunch. Our server was very polite. The food was good but it took a bit longer to get to our table. The only downside for me was their ketchup. It tastes a bit sour to my taste.

The place is beautiful, it's not crowded. It is "instagramaable" has good meals in addition to being very tasty. The service is dedicated and very efficient. There was not a long wait in ten minutes after the order I was already enjoying a beautiful meal in addition to beautiful well served.

Great service. We came to pacific beach for four days. We ate here 3 times, it was that good. We like to try different places but kept getting drawn back by the great food and staff.

This place is in the top 10% of hyped joints in PB and I'd say that's well earned. Great brunch/breakfast if you're willing to wait for a table. They have a convenient app to at least monitor where you are in line so that is appreciated. We waited about 25 minutes on a Sunday for a table of 6, not too shabby. Food was good, solid, wouldn't say mind-blowing but good. One person at our table got a meal with a bagel (can't remember the name of the dish) and said the bagel was not top quality. I would've expected a place like this to kill the bagel game, but they said it was a rubbery, kind of store bought feel. Everything else was good to great. Their house kombucha is really good, highly recommend!

Great little restaurant in walking distance of our air bnb. Good vibes and ambiance. Great food. Pet friendly. But we had to ask about the pet menu we saw online when we showed up with our pooch. We also had to ask for water twice for him before getting it. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience. Oh it would be nice for at least a couple of options for kids to eat too. No kids menu.

Food was amazing place was empty when we got there and service was still super slow with only 2 other tables there when we were.

Super cute place, vibe was like a fun whimsical treehouse. They offer fresh squeezed Orange juice. My friends got the steak, I got the breakfast burrito. All the food was good, but I will say my burrito had lots of potato in it and the dish also came with side of potato. So if you love potato you’ll like it here!
