Figueroa Optometry Center, Los Angeles CA

I’ve been going here for well over a year now and am so happy I chose them. All of the staff are extremely friendly and the doctor is very diligent and great at explains what’s going on, why, and the next steps to take. I have a more rare eye condition so my appointments can end up taking a lot longer than anticipated but I never feel rushed or like a nuisance when I’m there. I highly recommend it.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Duenas for 2 years now and I’m always reminded of how amazing the patient care is. Not only is Dr. Duena’s an excellent optometrist, he is kind and caring which is a rare find these days. Not once have I had to wait too long in the waiting room and ordering contacts is always breeze. He and his staff make the whole annual eye process very easy. I would easily recommend him to any of my co-workers and friends.

I Stop by today to get my eyes checked. The Doctor is great at explaining everything in details and goes above and beyond. Prices are reasonable and have a great selection on name brands. Perla is really knowledgeable at her job and performs a great service. Me and my family will keep coming back. Thanks Figueroa Optometrist.

I have lived all across the country and have used many different optometry centers - Figueroa Optometry Center is by far the best.

The manger likes to leave you waiting having chisme on the phone and isabel likes to raise her voice like she owns the place i had not walked in the place and she had already started raising her voice and plus she didnt provide case she said ther 3 dollars this place when down on service for worst

Hunky handsome doctor! My first visit was the week I think of thanksgiving or the week before, and my glasses were ready the first week of December. I called and got an appointment within the next week. No issues with LA Care insurance so idk why so many judys have negative things to say. The girls at the desk were pleasant and helped me at the end. The doctor is sweet and handsome 10/10 experience

This place is very unprofessional I have been waiting almost 2 months for some glasses and still have not received very unprofessional poor business ethic and still have not received my glasses I put them in an August and here it is October and I have still not received glasses poor customer service no matter if you have LA care or any other insurance no one should have to wait this long to get glasses that they truly need.

Ive always had a great experience at this Optometry Center. Pearla is amazing! The doctor is AMAZING! TODAY.talking with Isabel did it for me! Myself and my daughter are patients here and have been for some years now. Never had an issue but she was terrible! Attitude terrible. Doesnt know how to talk to people at all! A 2 sec convo with Pearla fixed it all and we literally had a shouting match with a person who doesnt knw how to do her job. I asked to speak with someone over her not sure if the doctor knew about this situation?
There was no resolution with HER and very unprofessional to say the least. I wouldve given 5 stars actually but SHE blew it today. She needs to take classes on customer service!

Dr. Dueñas is fantastic at his profession. This optometrist is my go-to place to get my eyes checked. It's always an enjoyable experience when I'm there. Perla, who works upfront, is caring and professional.

I didn't know being rude was a part of customer service, but wow 4 Years have gone by and still no change? Dr Herman there are plenty of, if not over qualified individuals that are seeking a position such as the two you have~ & would do it happy. Carla has always given me such a difficult time in person and over the phone. I mean is anyone happy to work in there? It seemed as if she would rather have been at home. If that's the case I would find better help. Thank you for your experience Dr. Herman but I prefer to take my business elsewhere.

The eye doctor ‍️ is young and explains everything in detail. He offered choices when it came to contact lenses. He gave me trials and I appreciate that. Perla from the front desk is also helpful and patient she also seems knowledgeable. I’ve been going to this location since 2012 when Dr Herman was there. This doctor is friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Dueñas is really nice and super professional. Got in and examined in no time. The frame selection is wonderful! The staff were super helpful as well. Glad I found this gem!
