First Chinese Express reviews
7I was so hungry! I ordered Shrimp Egg Fo Yung & the Bo Bo Platter. Exactly what I needed! Delicious!
I’ve been coming here for years, the shrimp fried rice is my favorite! Lots of egg, shrimp and the rice is perfect!
Infinity stars! BEST Spicy Chicken Wings in San Diego! Long time client, consistency is top notch and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Very kind and loving, shout out to my friends. FYI even my people from El Centro CA know where to get the best Walnut Shrimp and Spicy Wings when they visit SD! Now you know too.
Terrible food and terrible service. It’s rare that I write reviews but this place was so terrible that I’ve completely wasted $33 dollars. The “crispy orange chicken” is soggy and bland. The sweet and sour chicken, also tasteless and bland. The BBQ pork is also really bad. I can’t even stomach it. Will never go back to this place. They don’t allow you to dine in. You have to order your food at the door, in the cold and wait long time for bland food and leave with your food.
Ordered the general chicken with fried rice and some fried noodles with vegetables. Wasn't very satisfied with any of them. Will try somewhere else next time.
Truly sorry to say…
That was baaaaaad
Everyone in the family complained all at once.
The Shrimp and broccoli was a box of Broccoli though it seemed. The Kung Pao Chicken was mmmm weird.
Seemed like too many corners cut. Hope this was just a Covid thang but we won’t go back.
This place is great. $7 lunch combo, $8 to upgrade to shrimp. The quantity and quality are both better than what you could expect from any lunch restaurant frankly.
The best part was the staff! It seems family owned. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a wave from the cook. The woman taking my order went above and beyond and even asked me if I had any food allergies I should make them aware of - that so rarely happens! She also made sure to ask if I wanted hot mustard. So good.
When I left with my food the woman even offered me a free (giant) organic Honey Crisp apple just to be kind and wished me a a happy rest of the day. Protect this establishment with your lives!
