FISH DISTRICT - Carmel Mountain reviews
18Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. I go here almost every weekend and get a bowl with their side of two garlic breads for only 50 cents extra! I’ve also bought their large poke bowl and it was delicious—they included so much fish, unlike a lot of other places who are usually cheap with their servings. The seaweed salad is top-notch. Overall, I rate this place a solid 5 stars.
Delicious salmon / ahi poke bowl with spicy sauce, also had a tasty battered cod Baja taco. Very good food, will return soon
Really good spot. Food really good and the portions were pretty large. The kicker was the clam chowder bacon fries. I know it sounds so wrong but it was so right.
We have been eating here since they opened and they ha e always had the freshest fish!
My wife and I love this place!

I don't know why I waited so long to eat here. It is so delicious, fresh and well seasoned. So far I have had, chowder bacon fries, white chowder, salmon catch of the day plate and po boy shrimp sandwich. ALL DELICIOUS I'm going back in a couple days to try something else lol
We ordered tuna and salmon on the catch of the day plate.
For sides, I chose a coleslaw salad, rice and French fries.
The tuna was very good with a rare center.
Okay this is a little bit pricey but they're so delicious! Po boys bomb fish, and chips are bomb and I absolutely love the Ginger beer soda which is probably the only place you can get it in San Diego I think.
I got the Seared Tuna Bowl. It was surprisingly good for being a fast food type place. Certainly not restaurant quality as the tuna was a little chewy. Overall, good flavors, good service, and a clean environment (except for the patio). Will try again.
I had a poke bowl with traditional sauce. Absolutely wonderful. Efficient and pleasant staff. I can't wait for my next visit
Enjoyed a Saturday lunch experience with seared Ahi with a ginger-teriyaki sauce. Like the varieties of soda. Sat outside under a patio umbrella on a nice sunny day.
I have never seen so much single-use plastic- it's unnecessary waste. It's ironic since fish come from the ocean and this place is doing everything it can to contribute to the problem of destroying the source of its product. Think outside the plastic tub!
Freaking phenomenal. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had and the shrimp is out of this world. 10/10 would recommend and visit again!
Solid, good tasting food. The service and food are consistently good quality and the options are great. I wish they had a more customizable poke bowl option, but other than my wife and I really enjoy eating here. They get the simple things right like rice and veggies while providing generous portions of fish in their dishes.
This is the second time here at the district and I must say that the quality of the food is excellent, service was quick and friendly and prices while little bit high is what you would expect. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food - I don't even like fish.
Came here for my dad's birthday and was impressed by the food quality. Specifically the steak tacos.
I love the ahi bowl here so much that I make excuses to be in the area where I know the restaurant is so I can bring it home! Try it!
It was our first time here. My husband had the grilled swordfish with Coleslaw and asparagus. I had the Shrimp PO Boy with sweet potato fries. My said his was good. My Po Boy was very good with 4 large battered shrimp, lettuce and tomato. My sweet potato fries were slightly burnt which was the only bummer. We will be back.
Very consistently good seafood. However this is a smaller store with limited menu. Yet, it provided good dining experience.
